Prologue - Lost

So,Before I start I just wanna say that my account is _Nekoai_, This is just a collab account with a few other people here on WattPad...Anyways on with the Prologue!^^

•~Aphmau's P.O.V~•
(They are 9-10 years old right now)

"Hey!Laurance!Wanna play?"I asked, Hoping he would say yes.

"OF COURSE!"He said,smiling.

"Hehe,Great!What do you want to play?"I asked.

"Hmmmm.....Tag?"He said,Smiling as usual.Laurance was always smiling even if he was sad,He'd find out a way to be happy.That's why I liked being friends with him.

"Sure!"I walked up to him and tagged him,"TAG YOU'RE IT!"I yelled running around.

"Hey!No fair!"He said chasing me.

We both laughed and giggled as he attempted to tag me.Eventually he did,"TAG YOU'RE IT!"

I turned around a and chased him,Eventually I gave up,I was out of breath.

"You're........ Faster........than.....you....look"I said in between pants."I......Give......Up..."

"HAHA!VICTORY IS MINE!"He said jumping around.

•~Laurance's P.O.V~•

I can't believe I won!

I started jumping around everywhere.Until we heard screams coming from a distance.

"L-Laurance?What was that?"Aphmau said,obviously scared.And I wasn't afraid to admit...I was scared too.

"I-I don't know"I said,Fear showing in my eyes.

Aphmau ran up to me and hugged me,"Please don't leave me"She said.

"Aphmau,What would make you think I'd ever leave you?You're my best friend!"I said giving her a warm smile,She smiled back,"Now come on,I wanna see what that was"I said,Grabbing her hand and starting to run.

"U-uh,L-Laurance do you think this is a good idea?"She asked with  worried tone in her voice.

"Aphmau, I'm with you you don't need to be afraid"I said reassuring her that everything will be 'Okay'.

She gave a weak smile, We kept running, We saw a village on fire and being invaded by Shadow Souls,And  it wasnt just any village.....It was...

Meteli

Tears streamed down my face,For all I know my family could be dead.I let go of Aphmau's hand and ran towards Meteli.

"LAURANCE WAIT!"I heard her call,I didn't stop, Not until I knew my family was okay.

I ran inside my house and look around for my dad and Cadenza.
(He doesn't have a mom)

"Dad?Cadenza?""I said looking through my trashed house.I was freaking out,They weren't anywhere.Maybe they are.........
No...they can't be....
I walked through the halls and saw drops of blood on the ground I followed them and saw my dad,ON THE GROUND,DEAD!

"N-NO!DAD!PLEASE NO!"Tears uncontrollably fell down.

I saw shadow souls approach through a hole in the wall,I ran.I was able to make it out, I ran into the forest where Aphmau and I were,She wasn't there.....

Did I lose her?
