It had been another long day on set and all Melissa really wanted to do was go home and rest in bed with her husband. It had been 4 years since Glee ended and two years since Jacob and Melissa got married. After started dating halfway through the final seaso and two years after, they decided that it was time for them to marry. Neither had any jobs booked when the show ended. But they really didn't care, they wanted to take a few months to just relax and be with each other. So after after a 4 month break, they both went back into action and started booking more roles. Melissa getting movie deals right away while Jacob stayed in tv for awhile before getting into moives. After 4 years they were able to work together on a movieand on top of all that, they get to Paris for 3 months to film it. It didn't any better than that get. Althought after the first month, Melissa wasn't enjoying it as much because she had been since for the past week. She had been sick a lot when she woke up and she couldn't keep much down either and she had a pretty good idea what that meant, but she hoped she was wrong.
"Hey babe" Jacob smiled as he walked through the door to their hotel. "How was your day?"
"Fine" She answered softly
"You okay?"
"Yeah"
"Mel, I know when your lying to me, now come on tell me what's going on."
"Nothing" She lied.
"Okay" He gave up, kissed her softly before turning off the light and going to bed.

It was 2 in the morning and both of them had to be to set by 6, but Melissa couldn't sleep. She got up and ran out of the room and into the hall way when her phone rang. It was her doctor, this was it, she was going to find out if she was going to be a mother or not.
"Hello Melissa, did I wake you?"
"No, I've been awake, waiting for the news and plus I knew you would call in the afternoon L.A time. So what are the results?"

She manged to get no sleep that night, with the news and the all the sickness, it just didn't happen. When the alarm went off, Jacob woke and rolled out of bed and took a quick shower. When he left the room, Melissa got changed and waited for her husband before she went to set. She was nervous, how would he reaact, would he be happy, mad? There were so many ways this could go. All she needed to do was find the right time. Luckily she wasn't sick before leaving the hotel room, she had been up about half hour beforedealing with it. He would never sucpect a thing, at least she hoped.
When they arrived, they staight to hair and makeup and got ready. After a few hours, they were ready to go and film. Although Melissa felt sick and ran to the bathroom before hand and Jacob wasn't around then thank goodness. Today they were filming another action scene and already Melissa knew it was going to be tough, she just prayed that it would go by fast. After running for some seemed like hours, she couldn't hold it in anymore, they were about to film another running scene when she cover her mouth and ran off set.
Jacob was confused as to what was going on. He knew she was sick, but from what? the food? He ran after her to get to the bottom of things. When he found her, she was leaving the bathroom.
"Mel, what is going on with you?"
"I told you nothing"
He grabbed her arm and pulled her back.
"J..we have to go back to set"
"No, not until you tell what's up"
"I'm just sick, it's no big deal"
"No big deal..Mel, I've been told that you have gotten sick multiple times today and the past few days on set. I mean I know you have getting a little sick at night, but this much, somethings not right"
"Alright fine. Yes I'm sick, but it's food poisioning or anything like that..I'm pregnant."
Jacob's mouth dropped. He was not expecting that. He didn't know how to react, it was still processing in his brain. After a few minutes a smile started slowly forming on his lips. "Babe, that is amazing news." He picked her up and spun her around and then kissed her hard. "I can't believe this, I'm going to be a father, and we're going to parents."
"So..you're happy?"
"Of course I am, why wouldn't I be happy?"
"Well because we're still young and both of careers are busy again and I just didn't think you would want one right now."
"Are you kidding. I mean it's a surprise, but I don't care."
"Really?" She asked
"Yes, baby, I'm beyond happy, I'm thrilled because we're having a baby and it's our, that makes this whole thig even more real and special."
Melissa smiled and kissed her again softly.
"But what about this movie?"
"What about it?"
"Well there's a lot of movement and stuff, are you sure that's safe for you and the baby."
"Yes, I talked to the doctor this morning and he knows that we are here working and he said that I should be fine shooting the rest, but after we get home I should stay away from fast paced jobs like this and roles were I have to lose weight or anything like that. But once we get back I should stay with small roles and I could maybe even fit one more movie in before I start showing if I'm lucky."
"Then that's exactly what you're going to do, this is just so amazing babe"
"It really is..I can't believe it's happening"
"It's another new beginning for us."
"I can't wait"
He smiled and grabbed her hand and walked back to set and told the cast and crew the news.
"I love you"
"I love you too J"
The next nine months were going to be hard with her roles, but she knew in the end it would be worth it, to have the family that she's always wanted.
