Hi everybody! This is my first time writing a fanfict sorry if its bad :/i know it probably is i tried my best ahah, but i hope you guys enjoy it and I had fun writing this for the fisrt time i will be updating daily hopefully. chapter 1, The day of the Finals
I woke to the sound of my alarm, i waved my arms frantically searching for the alarm to turn it off. After what seemed like forever i finally found the button and got up out of my bed, which i dreaded i was up all night studying for my history final Exam. Im in my senior year and im trying to get into a really good college and study music. Im not really sure what college i want to go yet, but i know for sure i want to go with my best friend Cat. We both had a special place in music, we would always have a guitar out and sing and our voices would make a perfect harmony. We have been best friends ever since we were little and love to goof around. I wonder what it would be like in college? will i make friends? is it going to be fun? am i going to meet somebody special? my thoughts got interupted by the sudden sound of the door swinging open. I jumped and screamed and my mom jumped back frightened by the sound that just left my mouth. I stopped and i just started laughing
"sorry mom, you scared me!!!"
she has a small smie on her face, i love when she smiles its so peaceful.
"sorry sweetie didnt mean to frighten you" she says while laughing. Im certainly going to miss her presence when i go off to college. I wont be able to see her as often any more.
"I wont be surprised if i made you deaf" We both laugh uncontrollably at my remark.
"Would you like for me to make you breakfast?"
I nob my head, "same as usual pancakes, eggs, bacon and toast!!!" Im a girl who loves to eat what can i say, im shocked i dont weigh so much from all the food i eat.
She nobs and exits the room, while she goes to make my breakfast I decide to take out my clothes for the day and shower. I strip off my clothes and turn on the water, not too cold or not to hot. I jump in and let the water run through my hair and i begin to sing. After a couple minutes in shower i step out and i wrap myself with the towel. I reach over to my cabinet and brush out my hair, while i wait for it dry I get the clothes i picked out and get dressed. I put on a button up blouse with a pair of light denim skinny jeans and toms. My hair is already completely dry, its wavy i decide to leave it down and natural.It flows perfectly to my mid stomach. I put on a lttle of mascara and eyeliner. I wasnt such a big fan of make up. By the time i finish i hear the sound of my mothers voice downstairs.
"Clair your food is ready!" i rush down and i begin to eat. I hear the sound of my phone indicating i got a text message. I slide the unlike screan and see its from cat
Cat~
- Hey im on my way. Be there in 5!
Me~
Alright CJ ill be ready by the time you get here
I finish up eating the rest of my food and put the plate in the sink. I run upstairs almost falling from my own feet, gosh im such a cluts i mumble to myself. I hear the car horn outside indicating cat is here so i quickly grab my bag and hug my mother good bye. I step out the door and see her wave at me
"Hury up clair we are going to be late!"
i jump in the car and we start to head to school, on our way there we both sing loudly to Wings by little mix. 10 minutes passed by and we are pulling up to the school parking lot. Cat puts the car in park and we both get out. Theres still about 10 minutes left until the first bell rings.
"Hey cat im going to go find a spot where i can study ill catch up with you later"
"ok text me at lunch so we can meet up and tell eachother how the finals went"
i look down at my feet ad bite my lips and my nerves start to kick in. Cat knows something is up, she put her hand on my soulder.
"Clair you will be fine dont worry about it, you will pass"
I listen to what she says, we hug and we say our goodbye's. I walk to an area where its quiet and i can focus on my studies. I already cant wait till this day is over, all these nerves are making me stress out alot. I open the history book and dig my thoughts in the book trying to get as much as i can in my head. I must have gotten carried away when the first bell rang. I made my way through the bussy hallways inching my way through people trying not to get crushed. I notice my room number, i enter and take my seat. Ater everybody has arrived in the class it was time to start the final.
The finals are over, thank god. I think i did pretty good it was easier than i thought. Its time for lunch, So I take my phone out and text Cat
Me~
im heding out of class, meet me in the cafeteria
Cat~
Already there, hurry up slow poke up starving!!! :(
I laugh at her text and I put my phone away, Cat always manages to put a smile on my face no matter what im going through. Im heading to the cafeteria when somebody suddenly bumps me and i feel a cold sensation on me. I look down and notice there's water and some food on my outfit.
"oh my god im so sorry i didnt see you there"
"Its ok im fine, i was probably the one who bumped into you, knowing the cluts I am"
I hear him starting to chuckle, oh gosh im making a fool of myself, He's probably laughing at how i look right now.
"Here let me help you"
He takes a napkin and he begins to dap the big spot of water and food off of my shirt. After he manages to take most of the food off and dry the water, I look up to thank him.
"Thanks you didnt need to"
I meet his gaze, and he meets mine. We stand there staring at each other what what seems like forever. His eyes are a beutiful blue, there amazing i can just stare at them forever. I can feel myself starting to blush.
"Whats your name babe? he extends his arm outward to shake my hand
" Im Clair" I take his hand in mine and i shake it
"Im Niall Horan" he says whie giving a small smirk
Cat comes over yelling at me asking where the hell i was until she looked down at the lttle stain that still remained on my shirt then looks at Niall. She has a questioning look on her face.
"Cat this is Niall, Niall this is Cat"
they both say hi and i explain the whole story and she begins to laugh at the whole situation that happened. After she stops laughing i see Niall staring at me in the corner of my eye. I fall into trance again until i feel a tug at my arm and i begin to notice i am being forced to run. His figure begins to fade farther and farther away. I wasnt even able to get his number, i didnt get to know more about him, what if i dont see him again?
This chapter was probably really short but i will try to update as soon as i can xx
