Chapter 3

When we got home my mom and dad were the same as always, stuck to their phones paying very little attention to me or my sister. I walk up to them and wave hi. My dad just looks at me and smiles so does my mom. I look at my sister and she just gives me one of does 'Do I care' looks and walks off to her room. I do as well and turn on my radio and change my clothes to my most comfortable ones, a pair of converse and some blue ripped jeans, with a white t shirt.
I was texting on my phone when I heard a knock on my door I open it and find a very angry old man( dad) looking like he wanted to kill me.
" Hey what's up." I said slightly smiling.
" What's up, young lady is that you have very bad grades and haven't done anything to fix it." He screamed. Okay he was angry.
" Look dad, I know you care about my dad and everything but... I really don't care about school." I said I slowly said the last part so he wouldn't get mad, I mean the man already is.
" I can't believe this... You are so in responsible. Just you wait until your mother hears about this." He said.
I rolled my eyes and closed the door behind me locking it. I was so sick of this I just want my life to change completely. When I was thinking about this my best friend Lizzie texted me.
From Lizzie:
Hey girl wanna go out?
To Lizzie:
Um... Sure where to?
From Lizzie:
To the movies.
To Lizzie:
Sure... My dad Is mad at me.
From Lizzie:
Why?????
To Lizzie:
Because I told him that I didn't care about school.
From Lizzie:
Oh, Been there, done that.
To Lizzie:
I'll meet you outside my window.
From Lizzie:
K
After texting Lizzie I changed and got my phone. I opened the window and climbed out I shut the window behind me I waited for Lizzie.
Out of the corner of my eye I saw a Mercedes coming up the street. It was Lizzie. She beeped her horn and drove up the drive way.
" Hey ready," She said.
" Hi, and um it's 3 in the morning, my parents are asleep and you do not want to wake them up." I said.
She rolled her eyes and hurried me into the car. Once I got in we headed to the movie theater. Once we got there we got some popcorn and bought some candy as well we decided on watching Lucy. While we were watching the movie... Correction while Lizzie was watching the movie, because I had my headphones on listening to Fetty Wap and other singers. Some random dude touched my elbow and said,"No headphones in the theater." He said a little annoyed.
" Um, who do you think you are?" I said.
" I just need you to take them off its against the rules." He said.
"How about I don't." I said.
"Alice just do it."Lizzie said now in the argument.
"No!" I said.
"okay then I'm going to have to ask you to leave." The man said.
" FINE BUT I ONLY WANTED TO COME HERE FOR THE FOOD!!!" I said.
I stormed out of the theater leaving the guy behind. Lizzie seemed dissapointed and i felt guilt but right now I just wanted to get out of there.
"Lets go." I said while getting in Lizzie's car.
