Day two of freak week:

Beloved Robo-D,

It stopped raining cats and dogs when we woke up. Which is slightly depressing, since I love the sight of adorable, fluffy, four legged creatures raining from the sky, and then falling perfectly on their four paws, proceeding to roam around town. It beats the weather of 2018, where the only things that fell from the sky where avocados, and Marnie's favorite spaghetti. I love spaghetti, but lets get one thing straight, it's not as cool as cats.

"Yo Lace! Are those?" Crush's voice quivered for a second. By the time I turned my head to look at what Crush's was pointing at, Mr. Kevin, Marnie, Banana, Crush, and Harry were already running away.

Dear diary,

Cats! There were cats flooding the place from every freaky direction! Persians, Birmans, Ragdolls, Ocicats, Tonkinese, Thai, you name it, were on their way towards us. Meowing, and purring. Even though the sight was pretty alarming, the whole idea of running away from the cats seemed well, freaky. They're just cats right? What harm could they do?

"Aghh!!... It bit me!." The one screaming was Mr. Kevin.

"Oh, my stars! Lace, run!." But I couldn't move, there was one kitty that caught my attention. My eyes were glued to a beautiful gray and white cat, his legs were grey, his face and back had a pattern that resembled that of a tiger's. Blue eyes, and the tiniest pink nose. I just couldn't stop looking at its cute self; it reminded me too much of Tiger, the kitten I had when I was younger. He ran away with Banana's cat, Milo, on the last freak week and neither I nor Banana have seen them since.

"Tiger? Come here kitty." I made a "tch" noise several times and rubbed my thumb against my middle and forefinger. This is the way I used to make Tiger come to me when it was FOOD or BELLY RUBBING TIME! I waited for the kitten to leap towards me the way Tiger would. I waited for the kitten to throw himself on his back and meow until I rubbed its belly. But, what he did was hiss at me along with the other kittens and that's when Crush grabbed me by the wrist and pulled me away from the litter.

"C'mon! We gotta get out of here!" His voice was soft and sweet, like honey dripping on pancakes. I wouldn't say I've always liked Crush. I mean, yeah, I've always thought that he was super handsome, with those dimples so perfect, one on each side of his lips, and that brown hair so soft. Robo-D, not only does he have a dazzling smile, but his breath smells like coffee, and if that doesn't scream 'MARRY ME', I don't know what does.

We run up the stairs and quickly try to make our way to the first floor of the school.

"Quick! We have to get to the gym! We can lock the doors, and then sneak into the cafeteria," says Mr. Kevin. We try to run as fast as we can, but quickly the cats start to surround us until we're drowning, drowning in a sea of cats. The sound of all of us screaming and struggling to get up the stairs fills the room, just like the cats. Crush pulls me out of the sea of cats and drags me to the end of the room, where there is a door. We swim through the myriad of felines and make it to the door, our clothes filled with cat hair, and our bodies covered in scratches and bite marks. We close the door and then stand in the first floor hallway.

"What the freak, Lace?! Why did you have to stand there, your stupidity could've gotten all of us killed!" The one screaming at me was Harry.

"Leave her alone, you douchepants! It's not her fault that the cats started to flood the basement," screamed Banana, who enveloped me in a hug. "Hey girl, you alright?" I nodded with my head on her hands and then pressed myself against her and accepted her hug.

"Listen, there's no time for fights right now. We have to make it to the other side of the school, and we can't fight with each other. Now focus." Mr. Kevin's voice was strict and firm, a side of him I haven't really seen, especially since the divorce.

"If we go up A wing, we can run all the way to C wing and sneak to the gym from the back. We have no time to lose, it's day two, emotional changes should start to happen any time soon," Crush said.

"Then let's go." Marnie grabbed my left hand and Banana grabbed my right. We clutched hard and looked at each other.

"We'll make it right?" asked Banana. She was the youngest, with her blonde hair and those big blue eyes. She looked so innocent and sweet. Her eyes shimmering like she was about to cry.

"Don't worry, we'll make it," I say.

"Promise?"

"Promise" Marnie and I say in unison. Mr. Kevin started walking down the hall.

"Fine, but I'm not walking anywhere near that dumb klutz." Harry's face was red, he smashed a locker with his fist and started to power walk ahead towards the end of the hallway. We passed my geometry class, which I'm failing, but luckily I'll get to make up the work I'm missing and blame it on freak week. And then we passes Miss J's room, my favorite teacher. We walk down the empty halls, everyone must've made it to their homes. We should be the only ones left inside the building.

"Hey, at least the electricity still works, huh?" Crush looked up as we went by the classrooms. The lights suddenly started to flicker until they were all out. I screamed.

"You had to say something didn't you?" Marnie elbowed Crush as we made it to the end of A wing.

"I'm sorry!" said Crush, trying to catch up with me and the girls. We made a left and ran towards the stairs of C wing. When we managed to make it to the gym, we were terribly jaded. We were just standing there, planning how to get to the cafeteria for food because we were all famished, when Harry screamed. One thing about harry's scream, Robot Diary, is that it sounds exactly like your shoes when they're squeaky and brush against the floor. That's how high and girly Harry screamed. When we turned around to see why he screamed, there was the little kitten from earlier. He meowed and then rolled into his back,

"Tiger!" I went up to him and picked him up between my arms. The next thing we see is Harry losing balance and abruptly tumbling to the ground.
