Chapter Thirty Seven: Dipper's P.O.V. Thirteen

  Over the next week, Pacifica's memory fully restored. Bill hasn't bothered us once since we banished him from Mabel's body - yet. He'll come back eventually. It's hard to tell when, though.
  "Dipper!" I hear my sister calling me from the other room."Get in here quick!"
  I run from the gift shop to the tv room to find my sister with a birthday sweater on, a sombrero, a calendar, and a model of the Mystery Shack. Wow.
  "Bro bro, I am here to announce that there is exactly one week until our thirteenth birthday!" Mabel cheers.
  "Whoa! Already? Summer's gone fast," I say.
  "We've gotta throw the best party ever!"
  "I can't wait to be thirteen," I tell my twin."PG-13 movies here I come!"
  "I can stop reading pre-teen magazines and start reading post-teen magazines! Grunkle Stan, can we have our party here?" my sister shouts to our great uncle.
  "Sure, sweetie," he replies."Who do you wanna invite?"
  "The whole town! This thing's gotta be big!" she says.
  "Whoa, I don't know Mabel." My social anxiety begins to kick in."You know I'm not comfortable around a lot of people."
  "But Dipper," she begs,"just this once. We're gonna be teenagers! Let loose, broseph!"
  I shrug."Fine." I know I'm going to hide in the corner anyway. I've never been much of a party person, and I've never really had friends. Gravity Falls has been the only place that I've ever gotten close to people. Hanging out with Mabel and Pacifica this summer has been so fun. I feel like I belong here. But after our birthday next week, we have to leave.
  Our birthday is August 31st.
  On September 1st, summer will be over.
