That little bitch thought she held so much power around here.
I wanted to walk up to her, and smack that damned smirk off of her face. It was the only face she showed around me the majority of the time.
I'd seen her angry rarely. And even rarer than that was a smile whenever I was in the same vicinity.
She somehow maintained that impassive expression with the little smirk, the smirk that always taunted me as if saying "Im better than you. You know it. I know it." And I vowed to be there with a camera so that I could forever capture the image of her horror and terror when all the shit hit the fan, and the bricks of her little fantasy world tumbled down onto her blonde little head.
"Saxon, there's no need for your games," I told him not in the mood to deal with his jabbering.
It was obvious that they were not in here for a tutoring session. For one thing, the cameras in this room had been turned off. I mentally scoffed. How stupid did Blackbourne think I was? Did he really think I wouldn't notice the camera turned off in one particular classroom, one where all 8 of his people seemed to be at the exact same time? Along with one of my 1s? Was Blackbourne losing his shit?
Ashley Waters was my school, and I ran everything here. Despite what the 1s thought, if I wanted to, they would be as worthless as the idiots they call followers. I had my fingers in everything here. They were only allowed to keep their positions because I needed fall-idiots to take the blame.
And since today was my very last day at Ashley Waters-hell my last day in the United States of America for that matter-I was already on edge. A glitch in the cameras was instantly investigated, a missed call was traced, and anything and everything was researched and verified. I couldn't have anything incriminating me. At least not until I was safely with my money on an island somewhere.
So when she bluntly let me know that she knew that I had a plane ticket awaiting me, I only gave her an innocent smile and passed along a little message.
"Dont be so rude, Sang. Im only here to be a good principal and pass along a simple message."
Her hands balled into tiny fists but the expression on her face remained serene with that millimeter smirk. God I hope the news catches her expression when it all goes down. I can sit back and enjoy a cool drink and record her horror for future enjoyment.
"Well spit it out. What's the message?"
I allowed my smile to fade, and put all the malice I've ever felt for this spoiled rotten little bitch into my words. " Your stepmother is here, Sang. She says she's here to take you for a Girl's day."
