i fear nothing but your love (scarecrow x reader story)

Chapter 1 

"All right class settle down please because we have a special treat for you all instead of all the studying you all have been doing for your finals" a fresh faced teacher spoke clear but nicely to her class of rowdy students. Noise started to lower itself as the students started to calm down. 

"Right well today we have Dr Crane from the Arkham Asylum center in Arkham and he is hear to tell us a bit about he does but he is also hear looking for a student to take in as a intern to help him work at the Asylum for 2 weeks" 

Just as she said this a young man in a black suit walked in and gave the class a friendly smile. He had brown hair that was neatly gelled back out of the way of his glasses which hid blue eyes that twinkled slightly. He made his way to the desk and sat his briefcase on it. 

"Goodmorning class and like your wonderful teacher just said i am Dr Crane and i am a psychiatrist at the Akham Asylum for the clinical insane. I deal with patients and try to work out why the do the things they do or have done. I ask basic things like about their childhood and what their phobias"

"But isnt that dangerous" a young man called out from the second row.

"David dont shout out please" the teacher said

Dr Crane turned to the teacher and nodded that it was ok. He then turned back to the class and smiled.

"Well yes it is but someone has to do it and there are many guards there so if anything happens they will be able to step in"

"Now my turn to ask a question class" he said while removing his glasses. "Does anyone know what a phobia is?"

"A yeah its a fear" a young girl shouts out as she giggles with her friends. Dr Crane smirked at her and nodded.

"Yes it could be classed like that if you where talking to a 10 year old but what does the word phobia actually mean?"

The class then exploded in voices as puzzled students asked each other.

"The universities brights ha. What a joke. How am i able to pick an intern when they cant even answer a simple question"

"A phobia is a technical usage in psychiatry to construct words to describe irrational fear as a mental disorder" i said as i entered the class room. All their eyes stared at me but the only one i could see was his. Those blue eyes.

"Emily nice to see you finally joined us" the teacher said

"Sorry miss i just got in there the now"

"Ok then take your seat."

I smiled at her and went towards my empty seat at the front. Just when i was about to pulled my seat back it moved to the side away from me. Laughter filled the room and i looked up at David behind me whos leg was moving my seat. This sort of thing happened all the time but even so it still was annoying.

"David dont"

"Sorry miss" he muttered before letting go of my chair. I took it out and sat in it quietly.

"Whats your name?" Dr Crane asked me while his eyes studied me.

"Um Emily Lawerence " i say quietly

"Emily this is...." the teacher said but i but in

"Dr Crane from the Asylum i know" 

 The class broke into snickers and whisper and I shifted in my seat trying to ignore their voices.

"Can you give me an example of a phobia Emily?" he asked me bringing everyones attention to me again.

I sat up in my seat and nodded
