The Last Kobayashi (a naruto fanfic)

Nine

Let's just say I got bored...

I decided after shopping i would wake nii-chan up. Well, I woke him up at four in the morning by flopping down on top of him, temporarily knocking the wind out of him. In order to wake him up I kinda had to break in through the window...

"Wake up or you'll be late Nii-chan" I say, my mismatched eyes staring straight into his green ones. The sun hasn't even risen yet.

"Why are you sitting on me?" He grumbled out and rolled onto his side, knocking me off the bed entirely in the process.

"I was bored, you seemed comfy, I don't know what mysterious substances are on a boys floor. Take your pick of the reasons." I mumbled out and tossed random clothes at him.. Effectively forcing him out of bed.

"I'm making breakfast, get up before it gets cold." I shout from the kitchen while rummaging for pans.

""Kakashi-sensei said not to eat anything" He yelled back, I decided to make lunch for everyone while nii-chan got ready.

"Fine, more for me." I mumbled and began cooking, while also making the 6 bento boxes, when he asked why I didn't answer. After getting ready we both walked to the training field kakashi-sensei told them to meet at, everyone was already there, looking tired.

"Morning" nii-chan mumbled as I ran excitedly up to Sasuke.

After hours of waiting, and awkward small talk with team seven, kakashi-sensei finally showed up.

"Morning everyone. Ready for your first day?" Kakashi-sensei asked.

"Hey! You're late!" Nii-chan, Naruto and Sakura all yelled.

"Well a black cat crossed my path. So I had to take the long way. Well, let's get started." Kakashi-sensei said throwing a little glare my way. I may have set a trap or two in his apartment...

He cleared his throat and walked to the three posts in the middle of the field. After explaining the rules of the test and Naruto jumping the gun, he finally yelled start. Everyone but Naruto hid quickly, Nii-chan kept going as far away from kakashi-sensei as possible. I watched Naruto get caught in a trap, Sakura get caught in a genjutsu and Suki-chan get trapped underground.

"Never turn your back on the enemy" Kakashi-sensei said from behind Nii-chan when he stopped. Nii-chan quickly jumped away, turning to face sensei and drawing a kunai. Sensei disappeared from where he was before, but nii-chan stayed on guard looking all around and above him.

Nii-chan jumped up just in time to see kakashi-sensei's hand pop up from under the ground.

"Impressive" kakashi-sensei complimented, standing there casually. Nii-chan jumped into the trees, and threw a couple of exploding kunai before going to a different tree. He then decided to use the smoke from the bombs as coverage.

He quickly dipped into the smoke and a jingle could be heard through the air. But, as quickly as he ducked in he came running out... and straight for a tree... in which he used to knock himself out. I sighed and kakashi-sensei shook his head. After that I decided to go back to the posts and lounge on the one Naruto was tied to. He tried eating the lunch I made for everyone. Meanie.

Soon everyone was gathered and the growling of stomachs could be heard all around.

"Uh oh stomachs growling, that's too bad. Oh by the way about this exercise, well i've decided i won't send any of you back to the academy." Kakashi-sensei said, causing all of them to cheer in one way or another.

"All four of you are being dropped from the program" kakashi-sensei exclaimed with a carefree smile.

"Wait four of us?" Naruto asked.

"I'm not technically included in that one blondie." I mumbled with a yawn.

"Why not?" Sakura demanded with a scowl.

"I could easily take kakashi-sensei on where he stands." I murmurs softly while rolling over. Everyone freaked out at this.

"She's lying right sensei?" Sakura asked, her voice cracking in fear. He just muttered 'she's probably right'.

"I'll give you all a second chance after lunch. Do not feed naruto, do i make myself clear?" He asked, I assume they all nodded. Long story short I had them feed Naruto, kakashi-sensei gave a speech about friendship and they all went home. I was left to let Naruto out of his bindings.

"Thanks" He said when he was free.

"Don't mention it." I smiled and patted his head, to which he blushed and smiled back wider.
