We all know it happens; and when it does we don't expect it. We are like deers in headlights. At the exact moment of the brain screaming to move but can't.

That's where I was. In the hospital I was fine. Of course I was life doesn't want to kill me quickly; it want me to feel the pain. And slowly die.

Just minutes ago I was laughing with my girlfriend and brother in the car and a trunks wrong turn, and it just happened. So quickly.

I can't talk about it. I can't deal with it.

I can't deal with it. That's all that I was thinking at the moment.

All I could do was run out of the hospital when the doctor had given the news.

I can't deal with this.

I couldn't stop running. I had finally stopped in a dark corner of downtown that I had never seen. But I didn't care the usually wary part of me when I didn't have to worry about my brother.

I slid down the nearest brick wall.

It felt as if the world was crashing down on me. That's when I notice the broken pieces of glass around me. I took it up to my wrist and cut. The high coming from my makeshift blade was uncontrollable. It isn't the first time that I had done something like this. But this was the first time that I had ever felt so low.

I heard the glass around me crunch; I looked up only to see bright blue eyes staring back. I didn't know what to do with someone watching me bleed out. But tit was as if he had read my mind. If that was possible.

He took my hands, took the glass out of one and the other he licked. I didn't understand at first then it tickled a little then it stopped bleeding. It scabbed over.

Shocked I looked up to find the blue eyes again but they were gone.
