"Xavier! Get up It's time for school!"
That was the oh so dear Ivy, Xavier's handler.
"Jeez...It's only seven in the morning!"
"Well I don't care! Get up and get dressed!"
Her voice sounded from right outside his door, which was further proved when the door knob turned and she entered his room. He dove for the covers and covered his boxer clad body up.
"Ugh! we should just share the same room, then I wouldn't have to walk in here to wake you up every morning"
Yeah, she insists this every morning and while He loved the idea, He also know that they were both still in school(undercover at least).
"Yeah, no"
"You're such a loser"
loser, yeah that's him, It's his cover and life in general. Everywhere they go, He's the loser.
"Oh shut up, miss wake-me-up-at-the-crack-of-dawn"
She march over to his bedside and stuck her tongue out, which Xavier grabbed,
"Thamnit Zavier, pet gooo!"
Xavier released her tongue and proceeded to roll around in his bed laughing, Ivy stomped out of the room in a fury, slamming doors all along the way.
"Love you Ivy!" He called after her,
"Screw you!!"
He chuckled to himself, it's always fun to make her mad,
"Well, I'm awake, so I Guess I don't have much choice in getting up"
And thus xavier rolled out of bed, but he forgot his bed is extra tall and proceeded to slam into the floor. The resulting boom prompted Ivy to come flying into his room in a flurry of worry.
"Oh my, Xavier! Are you okay!"
He rolled his head over and stared up at the distraught face of his handler, Then smiled.
"I'm fine"
"Are you sure?!"
Xavier sighed, Even though he's trained to take pain, she still worries about the littlest thing that happens. Hell, He's been shot a total of sixteen times (not all at once though).
"Yes, I'm perfectly fine....and could you leave, I need to get dressed"
She smiled and gave him a thumbs up, Then spun on her heels and walked out of his room.
Xavier sighed again, He loved the girl dearly, very deeply, But he couldn't get involved with her anymore than he is now; not when he knew that any day could be his last.
At school
It was an average day, in the average life, of a not so average boy. The government didn't allow him to play sports because he had an unfair advantage, forced to skip out on gym because it would look suspicious, and he was not allowed to make many friends, that was ivy's job. She was to make as many connection as possible and to gather as much intel as she could. She's the reason of their success, though she was always very modest about it.
But alas, like many well made plans, they oft go awry, like today.
0700 a.m. est
Xavier was sitting at his desk, which was at the very back of the classroom; though he prefered to be closer to the door in case of an emergency. Before he knew it he had drifted off to sleep, only to be viciously dragged from his slumber by several rounds going off.
