The Underground

after the whole dating thing in alfheim, we decided to get portal guns from my granddad.

and the first dimension we went to was very memorable to say the least.

we were taken to the underground.

I remember I tried to walk through the portal backwards.

"ben... are you sure you should be doing this?" joey asked

"yeah, why not, what could possibly go-" then I felt a branch behind my foot and I fell backwards.

and then, the next thing I remember I woke up in a bed of golden flowers with joey next to me.

"see? I tried to stop you, your lucky that those flowers were there." joey exclaimed.

"Ow" I said holding my forehead with one hand

"were are we?"

"it looks like we're underground somewhere." joey said

"I guess we should try to find a way out."

then we walked to the only door we could find and went through.

in the next room there was nothing except a small patch of grass.

and then a small flower appeared

"Howdy." he said enthusiastically.

"hmm.. a talking flower well that's.... different." I said

"I'm Flowey. Flowey the flower!" he exclaimed.

"hmm.. Your new to the underground aren't cha?"

"Golly you must be so confused."

"someone ought to teach you how things work around here!"

" I guess little old me will have to do."

"ready?, here we go!"

"see,your soul is the very culmination of your being."

"your soul starts off weak but it can grow strong if you gain LV."

"what does LV stand for why love of course!"

"don't worry I share some with you!"

he winked at me

"we share love through 'friendliness pellets' catch as many as you can."

I was sceptical but caught some anyway.

"you idiot" he said with an evil smile.

"in this world its kill or BE killed."

then he surrounded both of us with pellets.

"DIE" he shouted while laughing evilly.

they started to get closer but then disappeared.

then, a fireball appeared and hit flowey.afterwards a goat lady appeared

"ah. do not be afraid, my child." she said in a soft voice.

"I am toriel,caretaker of the ruins."

"you are the first humans to come down here in a long time."

"come. I will guide you through the catacombs."

and so she guided us through the catacombs until we got to her house.

"surprise!, I baked you a butterscotch-cinnamon pie!"

after that she showed us our rooms and left us a slice of pie each.

the next morning we tried to leave but she stopped us at the end of the hall.

"if you truly want to leave I will not stop you. but if you want to leave that badly you must prove yourselves."

she starts launching magical fire at us but she looks reluctant to do it. eventually she stops.

"I know you want to go home but.... I will take good care of you here.. but if you still want to leave please... do not return.."

she steps out of the way of the door and hugs both of us.

"goodbye my child"

then we left the ruins.

"the batteries are recharged do you wanna go now?" joey asked.

"nah" I said " I think we should stay,who knows,this could be the start of something big."

and it was. we met so many great monsters and made so many friends.

and eventually we saved them all and broke the barrier keeping them underground. the looks on their faces when we said we broke the barrier, it made us feel so warm and happy. which was what made it so hard to leave them.

hmm... I wonder were they are now. I'll never forget them that's for sure.
