The next day George had to go back to the joke shop. I was somewhat upset because I wanted to spend time with him, but oh well. George had told me that today was probably gonna be a slow day so he let me stay home for today.

I was lounging on the couch watching a cooking show when I heard the phone ring. I grabbed the phone from the little table beside the couch. I brought the phone to my ear and pushed the call button.

"Hello?" I asked.

"Hey, Lexi. It's Hermione." The voice answered.

"Oh hey Hermione! Whats up?"

"So you know I've been writing that book about the battle at Hogwarts?" She didn't even give me time to answer. "Well I just got it published!" I pulled the phone away from my ear when she started screaming.

"Hermione, I love you but bloody hell quit screaming!" I heard Ron yell from the background. "Hello? Who is this?" Ron asked into the phone.

"Oh, hey Ron. It's me. Lexi."

"Oh, yeah. Hey, whats up?" He asked.

"Oh nothing much really. Just sitting here missing my boyfriend but other then that, I'm just lazing around." I joked.

"Oh that's cool. Hey, guess what? The Ministry let me and Harry become aurors! Can you believe that?" Ron said excidedly from the other side of the phone.

"Really? Oh Ron that's wonderful news! I'm so happy for you guys!" I said happily. I was so proud of them.

I jumped from my spot on the couch when I saw a brown owl tapping at my window. I jumped up and opened it, retreiving the letter from it's leg. I watched as the owl flew into the kitchen and started pecking at an apple. I opened the letter and this is what it said,

Lexi,

The shop is pretty busy here so I'm going to let it stay open another hour. I'm sorry and I'll be home as soon as I can.

Love, George.

I sigh and grab a quail from my room. I quickly scribble down a reply and tie the letter back to the brown owls leg.

The reply said,

It's okay George. Ill see you when you get home.

Love, Lexi.

I follow the owl as it flies out the window. I close it behind him and sit back down on the couch. I then stand back up. I walk over to the phone and push some buttons on it.

It rings. Twice. On the third time someone picked up.

"Hello?"

"Ginny? Hey it's Lexi." I said.

"Oh hey Lexi! What's up?" The red head asked.

"Oh nothing much. I just wondering if you wanted to come over.
