"mom, don't worry i'll be fine." i open. she nods and says. "i know. but you'll be gone for the rest of the year." i exchange a group hug with my family.

i look back at Earth and am stunned by how amazing it looks. "this your first time leaving Earth?" asks a girl. she where's a uniform that has the letters UNSC on it. a man hands me the a uniform and says. "make sure to put that on when we arrive." i nod in understanding and say. "thank you sir." the man walks off and the girl looks at me asking. "are you from an outer colony?" i sign no and answer. "no. i grew up on Earth." she gives me a smirk and says. "nice, my name is Rachle Roth, i'm from Azerath colony." i nod and reply. "my name is Maxwell Raza, but you can call me Max." we smile at one another and look out the window. "ya know i look out at those stars and i realise how small the planets of our galaxy really are." she opens after about an hour. a voice reports aloud. "we're about to make a jump into slipspace. take your seats cedets." we all nod and sit down. "it's kind of wierd that teenagers like us are being selected for a summer camp. i mean take a look, some of the fastests, and strongest teenagers are here." i point out. Rachle answers. "i've learned to deal with the questions. you see Max. i'm half demon." she backs away and acts like i'm about to hit her. i set a hand on her shoulder and say. "it's not the power that makes you good or evil. it's how you use that power that counts." a soldier walks over and says. "well said cedet. i see a leader in you. Chris Mklainn, i'll be your director for the next 3 months."
