To kindle a fire

Chapter 2

I woke up in a comfy bed in an air conditioned room with Eric on one side and Sid on the other. Uncle Mike was at the end of the bed with the proudest expression on his face but still there was a hint of worry I don't know why but I have a good feeling of what it is. "We know what bloodline you are part of now." I did to but what I wanted to know was what that thing was that I killed. "They're called hellenbeissers, hell bulls for short. This is the fourth time they have breached the entrance this week Mike what do we do?" Said Eric in a scared tone. "Lets go scope out where they came in at first and then we will figure out what were gonna do." Said Uncle Mike. We left the infirmiry where I was held until I woke up. We walked until we saw the hole from witch the hell bull came in from, there was no other way to go so we decided to go into the place from which it entered. We all were to big to walk in the trail so we crawled. We were told to keep an eye out for clues so we were all quiet and aware.

I think it was at the same time we all heard the blood stopping growl in from beside us. Almost with no reaction Eric shot a jet of air in all directions sending Sid, Uncle Mike, and me back almost breaking limbs on the way back. We heard a wimper and the hell bull came out injured and dazed. Then the coolest thing I had ever witnessed happened. Sid sent a jet of water at the hell bull surrounding it in a ball of water and almost immediately Eric blew a gush of air so cold it froze the ball of water into a ball of ice. They simply pushed the ball of ice off to the side and we kept going down the trail. About the time we reached the hole which they came I'm from we were so tired we didn't think we could make the trip back. We simply sealed it off with a few layers of thick ice and a fire spell cast by Uncle Mike.

On the trip back to the campus we grabbed the hell bull. It was thawing quickly but we will get it back in time. We need it for testing were going to implant a chip into it so we know where the group of hell bulls go because they all travel in groups.

"Sydney, Eric will you take Sam on a tour of the campus and show him where he will be taking his lessons tomorrow?" Asked Uncle Mike. "Sure can we show him where him cabin is?"said Sydney along with Eric. "Sure and make sure you don't lose him or I'll kill you both." Said Uncle Mike in a serious tone. "Got it." Said Eric and they gestured for me to walk with them.

"So what's all this about me having to save the world and my "kind"it's pretty confusing to me."I asked. "The prophecy says that each decade 1 person from each bloodline is born. Most of them are killed at birth so they don't fulfill their life prophecy. Especially your kind, so it's very important that you stay alive."said Sydney. "We'll that still don't answer my question, why do I have to save the world?" I asked. "It also says in the prophecy that one young soul one with great courage will push the evil back into the darkness." Said eric. "And who is this one I have to push back into darkness?"I asked,"they're called the seeths. They try to kill off our entire race and bloodline. At one point there was only 1 person of the water bloodline."said Sydney. "Ok getting off that topic.....that is your cabin right there Sam." Said Eric gesturing towards a large log cabin made from what I'm thinking aged spruce wood because of the color." "This is our gym where we will practice your powers and become more powerful and strong. Lets give you a little test right now." Said Eric with a mischievous look on his face. "Eric Mike said that we should cause any trouble, someone could get seriously hurt." Said Sid sounding concerned. "What's gonna happen he's just testing out his new abilities." He said loudly. "Fine I guess we will be fine if me make sure to keep an eye on him." She said giving into the argument. As we walked into the gym I got that weird burning feeling in my stomach again but pushed it aside and ignoring it. We walked I to a room with many dummies and targets some scorched some with wind damage. "Ok so were gonna do a little sparing now." Said Eric."ok so what do I need to do?" I asked. "Just concentrate and try to think about a flame." He said. So deep down inside I thought about the hottest most incandescent of flames with the most power imaginable. I heard Eric's voice telling me I was doing good and to keep it up until his mood changed and he started screaming to stop. I was trying to but the thought was to extreme it just kept getting more powerful and more powerful until it finally became to strong. Causing a powerful explosion it sent us all flying back with extreme pressure. So strong I felt all my bones bend and groan in agony. I heard a scream and a sudden gush of air and a loud snapping sound and all consciousness left my body.
