Chapter 31 - Finally Home

Storms POV
It was relief to finally be on familiar grounds again, the sea air being a nice homely welcome. Once through the portal I sealed it off and we all went home, we had no time for explanations and decided best to just go to bed and sleep. We'd had restless nights. Tess teleported her and Ross back to their place, while I teleported Trott and Smith and I, to our apartment. Smith was still in recovery mode, so I'd told Tess I'd watch over him.   "Home sweet home" I said as I climbed into bed. Trott laughed and got in beside me, his arm around me. "Yeah it's great to be back" Trott replied. Within minutes we had both fallen asleep.

The next day we awoke refreshed and raring to go. Smith was healthier now, and with a little extra help from my powers he was up and ready too. "Shall we get to work?" I asked. "The fun never ends" Trott said putting his arm around my waist. Smith smiled and disappeared. With teleportation, Tess and Smith could only teleport to linked places, I however could go anywhere I could picture. "Hey Trott don't let go of me" I said. He hugged me and kissed me quickly on the lips before smiling. "Ready when you are" he said. I nodded and teleported inside Yogtowers. We went straight to the common room where everyone was already waiting for an explanation. Tess and Ross announced about them getting married, and we told them about defeating the bad guys, and Rythian and Zoey.

When everyone finally cleared, me and Smith stayed behind, both of us turning our attention towards Simon, our true dwarven friend. "Simon can we talk a sec" Smith said. He easily agreed. "So what's up?" He asked us. "We met your dad" I said. "And we met when we were kids. We've been friends since forever" Smith added. Simon smiled, "is he okay? I don't go back often, it's something nobody knows, not even Lewis" Simon said. "We won't tell, it's safe with us" I said. "And your dad is doing just fine" Smith finished. He smiled and thanked us before going on his way. "Well, back to work?" Smith said. I sighed, "yeah, I've got a singing video to do anyway". He went to the guys' office and I went to catch up with Tess.

"Hey Tess, do we need to record anything together or are you doing your solo adventure stuff?" I asked over the monitor. She shook her head, and so I decided to go find the recording studio to record a singing video. It was no surprise when I bumped into Sparkles* there messing around with the instruments and equipment. "Hey Storm!" He greeted. I smiled at him and sat down next to him. "Hey Sparkles* are you using this for anything serious or are you just having some fun?" I asked. He laughed, "I'm just having fun, why you need the room?" I nodded and he got up to leave. "Wait, do you want to do a duet? You know me and you?" He asked. I thought about it, it'd be good popularity for my channel. "What song?" I asked. "You choose" he said. "Run and Go, Twenty One Pilots" I replied. He nodded and we began recording.

When we'd finished I thanked him and went back to my office. Tess and Ross were recoding something together so I went into the Hatfilms office. They were gonna play gmod with Sips and Turps, but due to Ross not being here they hadn't. They were all in a Skype chat when I walked into the room. I went and sat by Trott waving to Smith as I walked in past him."Hey guys" I said "Hey look who it is!" Turps chirped when he heard my voice in the Skype call. "You guys waiting for Ross? He's gonna be awhile knowing them" I said. I heard them groan and I laughed at them. "I know, I could use Ross's account to record gmod with you guys, I'll just take his place" I said. Sips cheered at the fact we were gonna start playing an actual game and I laughed. Trott helped me set up Ross's computer to use, typing in his password and stuff like that.

Tess's POV
I smiled as Ross entered the room, he was smiling too and he came over and hugged me tight kissing my cheek as he did so. "Hey beautiful" he said. "Hey Wolfie, we need to record a couples video" I said. He nodded, "that's why I came in here" he said smartly. He grabbed storms chair and pulled it up next to mine, his hand centimetres away from my own. I was so happy, the ring on my finger showed that. I was thinking about the wedding when I realised something, when would we tell the fans?

"Hey Ross when are we telling the fans about you proposing to me?" He smirked, "I was thinking i57" I smiled, "Great timing actually. Ooh I know, propose to me again on the live shows it'll be a great surprise" I said gleefully. "Yeah but it won't be a surprise for you" he said. I smiled and put on a surprised face and voice, "OMG yes, I love you Wolfie" I said hugging him. He laughed, "you're good, seeing as you didn't take drama" he joked. I scoffed, "guess I'm just a bit of a drama queen sometimes" I joked back. He laughed and we started our recording.

So another chapter, I've got one last trick up my sleeve before I come to end this book. Now I'd like to say that I'm open to criticism, but you guys never comment much on my stories so I'm wondering if it's become boring for you?
