Chapter 7

We were now in Bakersfield so that meant we were 2-3 hours away. I turned on the camera because an hour is already enough boredom for me.

"Ugh Marlene I am fricken bored" I love to annoy Marlene in my spare time it's kinda like a hobby "Marlene!!! Mars!!!! Marlaylay!!!! Marchester!!!" I whined.

"OH MY GOD Melissa shut the fuck up!" She yelled.

"Language, I am recording. Jesus" I turned to the camera "some people are just so rude" I stated and then laughed.

"Oh Melissa watch your back because when we arrive you're so gonna pay" Marlene threatened.

"Holy crap! Guys if I die I wanna let you know that I love you and show this video to the cops and also that Marlene is a fag" I said trying to seem sad, but failed. It was becoming nearly impossible to hold my laughter back. I turned and noticed that Marlene managed to get my pillow pet (yes I have a pillow pet don't judge) and threw it at me. My grip on the camera loosened and I dropped the camera I then threw the pillow back where Marlene couldn't get it and picked up the camera "so Marlene is being a little bitch and decided to throw a pillow at me, well played. Well guys talk to you in a bit or when I get to LA because I am a little tired, bye" I turned off the camera and got my pillow pet back and doze off.

I had a dream that I was with Jacob on a date. He planned me a perfect day. First we went to the theaters and watched The Conjuring and then we went on a picnic at the park and lastly he gave me a promise ring. I realized that I missed him so much and I was the one who wouldn't show him any affection, so it was my fault. I felt something tickle my nose. I figured it was a fly so I scratched my nose and I noticed something was in my hand. Something soft, sweet, and creamy. Crap! Suddenly everything went black and I woke up. My vision was sort of blurry and it took a while before my eyes focused.

"Hey sleepy head!" I heard a perky voice say. Obviously it wasn't Marlene. Once my eyes were focused I noticed it was a beautiful tan girl, it was Andrea outside my car door while I was sleeping in the passenger's seat.

"OMG I can't believe this!" I said while jumping out of my seat and attacking her in a hug.

"Wow if shes happy to see you after a nap then you should feel special because after she wakes up, she is not happy for no one" stated a Marlene standing behind Andrea.

"Why didn't you wake me up?" I snapped at her.

"Because you get pissed off" she answered.

"True!" I agreed "so..." I continued "who was the genius that put whipped cream in my hand"

"It was Kian" Marlene and Andrea said in unison.

"Oh he's gonna get it" I said jokingly, but then noticed he wasn't near by "where is Kian?" I asked.

"He went with Jenn in the apartment to get you a towel" Andrea responded.

"Oh ok" I smiled.

"So you're gonna stay there or are you gonna go into the apartment" I laughed at Andrea's comment.

"I'm going, just lead the way" she started walking and suddenly stoppe at an apartment door. She put her hand on the nob and we all walked in.

"Nice apartment" I complimented. I heard footsteps coming towards us as I faced the sound I noticed Jenn and Kian.

"O MY GOD I finally got to meet you!" I yelled as I attacked Jenn in a hug.

"You're gonna be a great friend I can just tell" laughed Jenn.

"This is such a dream" I stated as I loosened my grip on her and let go. I felt a tap on my shoulder.

"Ummm... Hello? I am your number one fan and you don't even care to say hi" said a 'hurt' Kian.
