Introducing Nina

~Nina's Pov~

Today could possibly be the worst day of my life.

It was 4:30 in the morning, everyone was still asleep. I quietly made my way to the bathroom and got ready for school. I looked like shit, so I put on some makeup to make me look at least some what decent. I plugged my flat iron into the wall, while it was heating up I washed my teeth and put heat protectant in my hair. Then I got the flat iron and did my usual wavy curls to my caramel hair. I then went to my room and got dressed. I wore my usual black jeans and grey loose v neck shirt with my black converse.

It was about to be 5:00 so I eat breakfast quietly and went to go wake up my oldest brother. I finally finished my bowl of captain crunch and headed back to bed. I then whispered to my self, "This is truly the glamorous life of Nina Salvatore." .......

" NINA wake up the bus is gonna be here in 3 minutes."

With that rude awakening from my brother Brandon. I jumped out of bed and headed towards the door.

" Thanks for waking me up brad." I said.

" No problem sis wouldn't want you to miss your first day as a freshmen in school."

I then shoved him for his sarcastic remark and started to walk towards the bus that just arrived in time. When we walked onto the bus everyone was staring at me, mostly the people in the back. But for the most part there weren't that many people on the bus so far. I took the seat in the front, then my brother took the seat right behind me.

The bus ride to school was pretty quite, Until we reached the 3rd stop on our way to school. A lot of kids got on the bus but this one guy in particular caught my eye. He was tall, tan and had amazing hair. I felt like time was moving so slowly as he walked behind some kid. He then nudged the kid in front of him I assumed that was his best friend since the guy said,

" Go get em' tiger" with a smirk.

As soon as he said that reality kicked in and everyone around was at normal speed.He stands over the place where im sitting. I start to get nervous that my whole body goes cold.

He says, "Is this seat taken."

I Nina Salvatore being the nervous reck I was all I could say was, " No." I then turn to the window as he sits down

thinking to myself 'Seriously Nina all you could manage to say was no. That guy was hot and all you manage to say is no instead of being flirty and saying 'Not anymore' with a smirky face. Nina you are something else.

I'm brought back from monologging to myself by his touch and him saying something.

Try and act natural this time

"Hey, you okay?" he questioned raising his eyebrow

" Yeah, umm something  caught my eye through the window." I said

" Well, umm incase if you missed it the first time im Justin"

" Its nice to meet you Justin, im Nina." I replied

He then puts his hand in front of himself, then I reach over to shake his warm hand. That was so soothing against my cold skin.

" Hey, Nina your hand is really cold do you want me to ask the bus driver to lower the a.c?" Justin said

" No its fine....." I replied honestly

" Hey Steve lower the a.c my girl is cold." He politely demanded

As soon as he said that I started to blush and got extremely shy. Everyone had the total opposite reaction since they started to coo at us.

I reach down into my book bag and get out my sweater and then tuck my hair behind my ear as my usual nervous tick of mine.

"Nina no need to get shy around me." he said

"Who said I was shy?" I said

Having this long conversation with Justin made me forget that we were still on the bus; but im brought back to earth with the sudden stop of the bus. I quickly realize that its time to get off the bus.

"Your quite the sassy one Nina, I like it."

Justin said while being the wonderful gentlemen that he is and letting me get out first. I then turn around to see my brother but Justin beautiful face blocks the way of me seeing Brandon. I knew he would wait for me somewhere so I didn't worry that much. So Justin and I walk with the massive group of people heading towards the doors of the school. I then look to my side to see Justin staring at me.

" Why are you staring at me?" I said with a raised eyebrow. It's like I caught him off guard because he started to blush.

" No need to be sassy Nina, just observing the view." He said while flipping his hair.

"Justin im not sassy and you are being extremely flirtatious with me. Is this how you get all the girls?" I replied.

He then walks in front of and I try to catch up to only see him holding the door for me. As I walk into the school im in total awe. The crisp a.c. hits me so hard that hair blows out of my face. In that moment I felt like a Victoria Secret Model.

It was nothing like my old school but it was very different in a good way. I then start to realize everyone is staring at me. I then feel an arm swoop on top of my shoulder. I then realize its Justin.

"Earth to Nina, hey like I was saying im only flirtatious and nice to the people that are worth it." he said with a huge grin.

"Well thats nice of you Justin, but I have to catch up with my brother to go hand in some things."

"You have a brother?"He asked

"Yeah well talk about it later" I replied

"There's a later?" He said while smiling

I turn my back to him and I start walk away from him to only hear his footsteps behind me.

" Nina, I already told you no need to be shy around me. But I'll see you later lovely." Justin said while giving me a kiss on the cheek.

Im left just standing there in awe while everyone is staring at me.
