Alex groaned as the sun's rays leaked through into her bedroom; thrown the open blinds on her window. Aria had forgotten to tell her she had opened them last night, and they live in a mountain for gosh sake's.
"I'm going kill you my sister." she said with a dark undertone, as she buried her head under her pillow. It had only been a few hours ago that she had finally fallen to sleep having been awake most of the night. She didn't have nightmares, and she wasn't doing research on herself. No; she had to keep things about the rangers in her mind. Yes, she being the ranger and the Katanabe she is, she was always worried Lothor would try to hurt her twin, her cousin, her uncle, and her ranger family. Finally, giving up trying to go back to sleep but she then rolled out of bed and landed on the floor with a thump; she picked herself up and trudged into the bathroom for her usual morning routine. Her body was aching from head to toe, and her eyes were starting to close ever so slowly.
'God help me If Lothor attacks right now.' she mused as she turned on the shower and peeled away her pyjamas before stepping under the hot water. She sighed in content as the boiling water hit her skin and she felt it tense before relaxing. 30 minutes later, she was showered and dressed, pulling a brush through her slightly damp curly hair and pulling it back into a low ponytail. Now finally ready to meet the new day, she grabbed her trainers from the side of the couch and pulled them. And then began to make the run she often did to Storm Charges. Aria was not far behind her but she got to sleep in this morning. She was with their uncle drinking morning tea. Udonna had Aria trained, she use to sleep later
"This is the last of the new stuff," the first voice to meet her senses as she stepped out onto the shop floor was Hunters; he and Blake had been doing great since they had gotten the jobs as stock boys at Storm Charges, her attitude towards him since his departure and return had warmed slightly, but they weren't back to the same routine they had fallen into. He was still questioning why she was so uptight with him, but she refused to answer him and Dustin and Kelly had made the point that he had upset her at some point. But he couldn't figure out when or why she would be upset. Alex was always Early and Aria had come with her this morning to come to work, so it was nice having your twin and a girl who was also good at working with 250s BMX bikes. The two of them had knowledge over keeping things in order and making things stand in order.
Kelly Holloway, looked around from her place at the front counter and smiled in satisfaction at the two Bradley Brothers hard at work- Alex was also even her in sleep deprived state was smiling at them. It was an action that did not go unnoticed by Aria, her twin knew what she was like and what she wanted.
"You guys are doing great," she told them.
"Keep it up and you'll never know" and with that she turned to walk away, smiling at her sister who she spotted instantly.
"Good morning sunshine!" she chirped
"You're awake!" Alex murmured.
"I hate you!" The younger twin looked at her sister, and then she hugged her tightly.
"Love you too." she teased, before walking into the back room as Dustin approached Alex and the Thunder brothers.
"Dude, you look like-" Dustin exclaimed, his gaze landing on the sleep deprived teen beside her
Alex covered her mouth as she yawned and glared at Dustin, who gulped and backed away her:"Don't even finish your sentence Dustin if you want to live."
"Sorry," he apologized before turning to Hunter and Blake.
"How's life in the work force?" he asked, high fiving them both.
"Its all good," Blake smiled, answering his friend.
