Three years after now. (Noralise)

I want eternity

Let's just forget that the ending of 7x16 ever happened and Noralise managed to get away and find some kind of cure. I apologise in advance for any mistakes. :)

Three years later...

After successfully escaping Rayna and getting Mary Louise to safety the two of them settled down somewhere where they didn't have to deal with any of the salvatores messy lives. The 21st century was meant to be enjoyed and that's what they set out to do, they eventually got officially married and found solace in a small village located somewhere in the countryside.

Nora awoke to the rays of sun in her eyes. She stretched her body and rolled over to her side only to find the the spot next to hers already empty. She turned her head to look at the time and it read 12:33pm. 'Mare probably woke up much earlier than her' she laughed at the thought and with that she dragged herself to the bathroom to wash up. It didn't take long and as she made her way to the kitchen she noticed the smell of pancakes and the sight of her wife, still dressed in one of her long oversized shirts that barely covered her body. Nora wrapped her hands around her lovers waist from behind and pulled them together, resting her chin on Mary Lou's shoulder.

"Good morning my love, or should I say afternoon?" Mary Lou said as she flipped the pancakes with a grin on her face. Nora breathed in the scent of her lover, becoming intoxicated by her smell.

"Good morning Mrs Hildegard" Nora mumbled a reply as her face was buried in Mary Lou's neck.

This made Mary Lou smile even more, causing her to finally surrender to Nora's touch. She threw her head back and closed her eyes, letting herself relax in Nora's embrace. But all was short lived when she smelt the burning of their pancakes which caused her to jerk her head forward and quickly discard of them.

Nora was still holding her as she giggled before speaking "And I thought I was the one who couldn't make pancakes."

Mary Lou playfully rolled her eyes before replying." Oh please it's only because your distracting me."

And that's when she let her hands fall on Nora's and unwrapped herself from their embrace. They were now facing each other and Nora leaned in for a kiss, it was short lived but sweet. Their foreheads rested against each other.

"Set the table before you cause me to burn the house down" Mary Lou whispered and Nora complied with a satisfied grin on her face.

"We should go out, I heard there's going to be a mini carnival on tonight" Nora spoke after laying out the plates on the table table. "Is this you're way of trying to get me to consume more of that 'rubbish' food?" Mary Louise asked with a raised eyebrow as she sat down at the table.

"Oh please I know you enjoy it as much as I do" Nora replied and she was right but Mary Louise would never admit it because she'd probably never hear the end of it. "I bet it'll be fun" Nora sang as she wiggled her eyebrows causing Mary Louise to laugh.

"Fine, we shall go to this mini carnival" she replied dramatically and stuffed a piece of pancake into Nora's mouth to shut her up.

They walked together with their arms linked. Mary Louise was eating candy floss while she admired the colours and the sounds that filled the village. Nora tried every game that was available and lost most of them as Mary Louise only watched in amusement when her wife would get frustrated and leave for the next one.

"I bet I can win this one." Nora said again as she dragged Mary Louise to yet another biased game. It was a game that required physical strength. All you had to do was pin the other arm down with yours. Simple.
