I stood, waiting for my friend to appear. But he didn't.

"Castiel! Please!" I screamed a little louder now, in case he couldn't hear me. I looked all around me, but he was nowhere to be seen. Then the idea dawned on me: Dean and Sam got to him first.

"Dammit!" I screamed so loud it hurt my throat. I fell to the floor as my legs gave out on me. Tears poured out, and I couldn't control them as they fell.

"Please..." I pleaded quietly as the tears streamed down my cheeks. I dropped my head to the floor.

"Catherine..." I heard his soft voice in front of me. I looked up to see my friend, Cas, standing over me, his eyes wide and easy as he noticed I was crying.

"They told you to keep me here, didn't they?" I asked after putting my head back down; my chest hurting from the amount of depression pressing on me.

"Catherine, I'm sorry..." he answered as I lifted my head and shook it, somehow trying to wake myself up from this nightmare-like reality.

"I'm sick of being USELESS, Cas!" I yelled at him standing up and marching to my room. I was useless. Completely useless. I never got a chance to prove myself; Dean, Sam, and Cas didn't even let me.

"Catherine," Castiel said, grabbing my arm, restricting me from moving further.

"Don't fucking touch me," I spat, pulling my arm from his grasp. I stared at him and could tell he wasn't expecting me to do that. My face was still wet from my tears, and I didn't even try to wipe them. I felt betrayed. But seeing the look on his face, I felt a little guilty for saying something like that to him.

"Please I just... really need space right now," I gently told him. I didn't want to apologize because I felt betrayed, but I still felt bad. He didn't give me an answer so I took that as a 'yes' and walked to my room. I knew he was following close behind because I could hear his footsteps. When I came to my room, I closed the door behind me, hoping Castiel won't come in.

"Catherine..." Castiel began, his voice coming from the other side of the door.

"Just leave me alone," I pleaded, hoping he would just leave.

After a couple of seconds I heard him say, "Hey, I'm with you, okay? Always." But I just sighed; he obviously wasn't 'with me'. If he were, he wouldn't be trying to keep me here. So I didn't answer. Instead, I closed my eyes, pleading with myself for him to just leave. Then I heard a phone ring, most likely his. I turned my head, looking at the door as if I could see through it.

"Dean... Yes, she's still here...She's upset...No, she's in her room...She wants me to leave her alone..." He said into the phone. I stood looking at the door, hoping Dean would need him or something so maybe I could sneak out.

"You need what? ... Okay where is it? ..." I heard Castiel say, his footsteps leaving the hallway and going back. This was my chance. I put my ear to the door and heard the sound of his footsteps fading away. I put my hand on the doorknob and cautiously and quietly opened the door. I stepped out of my room, using my hands to slowly close the door. The door clicked as it fell back in place and I cringed. I hope Castiel didn't hear that. But I stood for a minute, waiting for Cas to come around the corner. Gladly, he didn't and I took that as a cue to go. I quietly ran through the halls to the garage. On the wall there was a box where we kept the keys to some of the cars. I grabbed a particular set of keys and closed the box. I clicked the unlock button, and a car lit up.
