Dear readers,

I would love for you to post comments and tell me whether you like my story or not. It's wierd talking/typing on here. It feels like I'm in some empty room talking to myself :) Hope you enjoy.

BTW This is my first story.

---------------------------

I could barely breathe as I entered through the school gates. I could feel students stare holes into my back as I walked past them trying to blend in. I grew a little more nervous with each step I took wanting to turn around and run back home but my feet had a mind of their own; walking as fast as they could inside the school building. I heard the bell ring and a herd of students came in through the main entrance pushing past me. I moved from left to right lifelessly like a rag doll as students tried to get to their classes on time. I waited for the hallway to empty out before I started walking again. I looked at a bulletin board close by. Cassandra Hale- School president 2008. Sam Gather – school president 2009, Andre Locker-Class President 2010. There was a blank space next to the picture of Andre and underneath it it said school president 2011. There was also a picture a picture of a year group saying class of 2010. I saw a map of the school and tried to read. No matter what angle I was looking at it from, I did not know where to go.

“Good morning Alisha,” the principal greeted. I had met him during the summer because he thought it would be better if we met before I started school.

“Hey Principal James,” I smiled at him.

“I guess you’re looking for your first class. Here, I have your timetable you forgot to take it from me,” The principal handed me the timetable he took out from his pocket.

“You’re in the geography which is upstairs on the second floor in 210. There’s a sign on the door.”

I nodded at the principal as I walked toward the stairs he had kindly pointed out. I jogged off and bolted up the stairs. I put my timetable into my backpack and flung it over my shoulder. Reading each sign on the classroom doors I looked inside room 210. My charm bracelet slipped off my hand as I was about to open and I bent down to get it. Disaster struck! I got my necklace stuck onto the door handle and I was struggling to get it out.

‘Stupid necklace,’ I started to curse under my breath as I tried to struggle free.

“What the hell?” I looked up at the person standing beside me and smiled. How embarrassing. I just hope this wasn’t his classroom but with my luck it probably was.

“Hi,” He raised an eyebrow at me.

I quickly stood up leaving my necklace hanging on the door handle. I moved away from the door and opened it up and walked in. He had soft hair (I could tell) and the front was spiked up a little. His blue cardigan sleeves were put up to the bottom of his elbow and he wore black jeans. All eyes were on him as he walked in. I quickly pulled my necklace off of the handle breaking it and took this as my chance to enter the classroom as the boy drew all attention away from me.

I stood behind the boy and tried to tiptoe to the teacher.

“Late, yet again Jordan,” The teacher lowered her gaze at the boy.

“I’m sorry miss, I was just showing the new student around,” Jordan gestured towards me.

Liar “Oh-,”

I shut my mouth as I was persuaded, by his puppy dog face, not to tell on him. Instead I nodded in the teacher’s direction.

“Alisha right?” The teachers face lit up. “Well as Jordan might have already told you, I’m going to be your geography teacher for the year, well come over here then,” I followed her orders and stood by her side as I saw a few people glance up from their books to look at me.
