Warnings: Suicidal actions and murder

Dan stepped into the school, his backpack weighing down his back with the heavy weapon. He walked by everyone with a blank expression. He had no friends, and liked no one. Phil was his only exception.

Phil was a beautiful boy with raven black hair and long skinny legs. He had beautiful blue, green, and yellow eyes he had studied for weeks when he got that picture of him from Phil's best friend. She was easy to manipulate.

"Hello, Mr. Howell," The English teacher passed by Dan and Dan suspected he knew. Dan could almost feel perspiration running down his forehead but relaxed when he remembered who he was and what he was here to do.

"Good morning Mr. Tanner," Dan replied calmly. Dan turned back forward and put on his most intimidating expression. People stepped out of his way which satisfied Dan.

Then he saw Phil, and his whole day was made. But thoughts swirled around Dan's brain. Why did he have to come to school today? What if I hurt him? Is there any way I can save him from harm?

"Hey Dan," Phil nodded towards the boy and Dan blushed.

"Hi Phil," Dan cleared his throat. He sighed silently as Phil passed him without looking again.

Dan pushed through the bathroom doors and wiped away the tears starting to drop from his eyes. What am I doing? Is this really the answer to hating school and everyone around me? Fear coursed through his body but was replaced with an adrenaline rush as Dan lifted the gun from his backpack. He remembered what everyone had done to him. They didn't deserve mercy. His dad, being a lazy cop, was not cautious about hiding his guns and Dan was glad because what he was going to do couldn't be done with anything else.

"Okay," Dan assured himself. "Just pull the trigger and run." He quietly opened the door from the bathroom and looked both ways to check for people.

"And then I said 'Becky! I just saw the tallest lesbian...'" A girl was rambling to a friend and was about to pass by, so Dan let go of the door and pressed his back against it. He tried again and the halls were empty. He swaggered out and lifted the gun to aim at the girl. He saw the opportunity and pulled the trigger, quickly moving in to her friend. They both dropped to the ground with ear-piercing screams. Dan sprinted down the halls, pulling the trigger on everyone. He was in careful watch he didn't hit Phil.

The alarm blared and kids were pulled into classrooms.

Dan was panting hard as kids ran through the halls to escape, but they didn't know that there wasn't one and Dan would shoot them. He shot everyone he saw. Angry tears streamed down his face as he yelled for some to move.

"Dan!" A voice shot through the halls causing Dan to turn around. "Get in a classroom! By the way, I have to tell you something. I also like y-"

Those were the last words Dan heard as he pulled the trigger. He dropped the gun when he noticed the horrified face planted on the person he had shot. Phil.

"Phil!" Dan ran to his side. He tried to stop the blood from flooding out with his hands and sweat shirt, but all that happened was tears mixed with the blood causing it spread more. Dan heard footsteps storming through the halls. The SWAT team was coming.

Sirens wailed. All Dan cared about was Phil.

"Phil... I'm so sorry."

Dan had the day before told Phil he liked him, and walked straight away. He knew he would never see Phil again after committing this crime of shooting everyone in the school. He didn't even give Phil a chance to answer.

"I love you," Dan leaned down and kissed Phil softly on the lips, feeling the other boy's last breath of air escape his lips.

Dan raised the gun to his head after sitting up, and pushed back the trigger, blowing a hole through his head and making him collapse onto the lifeless body of Phil.

That was my first one shot and I know it ended horribly but i couldn't find another way for it to finish so I'll be writing more of these okah soz
