We're all excited. I woke up early to take a bath, to have my make-up and hair done in time. We don't want to be late. Never! In this kind of event, we never wanted to be late. And because we're so excited, pati parents ko maaga nagising. After hours of preparing, kinuha ko na ang aking graduation cap and gown.

"Ma, ok na po ba make-up ko? Hindi po ba sobra? Buhok ko po? Simple lang pero ok na po ba?" I asked her with a smile.

Make-up ko?  Powder.  Konting blush-on.

Excited lahat, nag-se-celebrate lahat. May celebration pa after ng ceremony with family and relatives na malapit samin dito sa Manila.

"Ano pang iniintay nyo dyang mag-ina?!

Kahit sobrang dami ng tao, I immediately recognized him.  He looked good. He was wearing his new sky blue long sleeves with matching tie. Slacks pants that was finely ironed and a pair of shiny black leather shoes na naiirita syang gamitin.  Well combed hair at naka-gel. Naka-powder ang face nya.  He gave me a big smile when he looked at me.  He raised his black gown and toga, a gesture saying that we did it.

My excitement was written all over my face that my mom cannot help but notice.

She's smiling at me, so sweet.

This is it! This is our big day. Sa lahat ng pagod at pagpupuyat, here we are. Both of us. Walang naiwan. Pareho kaming aakyat ng stage. Pareho kaming mag-hahagis ng toga right after the program.
