Mrs.Stern was the anatomy teacher. She was new and barely even getting to students. I swear she had to be a scientist or something because anatomy usually doesn't involve math and what ever she writes down on the board is clueless crap that we are supposed to decipher into pieces to study them.

Oakley Shade High School, the jungle of teenage animals. There are the fresh-meats, the slut-mores, the junior-nation, and of course —the rulers of the school— the Royal-seniors. There was only one rule to follow around here and it was to listen to the seniors.

I remember when I was freshman. How could the seniors have been so cruel and so scary at the same time. I remember —a classmate of mine named Zack— was pushed around in the locker room and every time he called for help nobody wanted to, because we were all afraid of getting involved with their strange teasing rituals but instead of being the teaser, we were their sacrifices.

It meant life or death with the seniors. Honestly my whole freshmen year was all about laying low and to never getting spotted. I even had to reject prom dates over the fear of being raped. That has happened but never reported to the police or anything.

I walked down the hallway and turned to see Jála and her so called Squad. She was also a senior and the captain of her dance team. She was very slim and all of her crew revolved around her.

"Hey Amory," Jála said in a tone as she confronted me with her squad of newbies.

I continued to walk trying to ignore her because hell, I didn't need to put up with shit today. She either wanted something or is planning to use me like every other guy in this school.

"Amory please," she paused, "Let me just talk to you!" She whined.

Oh hell no, at this point she was already in front of me. I stopped and looked over and then at her because just talking to a girl makes every guy in the whole school think your dating her.

"What do you want exactly, because I don't need any bull shit today." I said looking her in the eye.

She nodded.
"It's just..." She anticipated for a bit, "I wanted to see if you were free tonight, and maybe we could go out for something." She looked at me smiling softly.

Looking at her squad right behind her and seeing the pressure they tried to put on me to say Yes, it wasn't going to work.
"Sorry Jála I'm not looking for anything special right at the moment and if you would excuse me I have to get to class," I said as I walked passed her squad of morons. Like I said before no bull shit.

Jála turned to me with a frown and belched out so quickly.
"But I can make you popular!"

I ignored her. Who cares about being popular I'm a senior and almost done with high school anyway.

I walked into the class and the second bell rang right when I entered. I took a seat and looked at Mr.Wells our math teacher, he cocked up his brow and gave me an odd look.

"Can I help you with anything Sir," I said with a happy attitude tone.

"Yes Mister Payden," he paused, "May I ask about your homework?" He said as he reached out his hand expecting a paper.

"Yes, you may," I muttered under my breath in a sarcastic tone. I reached into my bag and then grabbed the paper and handed it to him.

Mr.Wells took the paper aggressively out of my hands. I looked up at the board and then then thought about senior sneak. By this time I had already made up my mind; I am going and never coming back to this place. I need to take risks; for me.

As I looked toward the front I spotted Roen. He had seemed very quiet this morning after staying the night at my house. This made me wonder why he hadn't of been talking to me lately. I finished my paper and walked up to hand it to Mr.Wells.
"Mr.Wells can I be excused?" I said as soon as I handed the paper to him.

"All of your work is finished?" he said pushing his glasses up with his index finger.

"Yes." I said in a firm voice.

"Are you sure?" He said, but this time giving me a suspicious look.

"Sir," I paused, "I just need to do some important things and I'll be back for next hour," I said as I looked down trying to look serious.

"Alright, alright," he paused waving his hands up and down.
"No need to get all aggravated," he said as he smiled cautiously.

I walked out of the room with my bag and belongings. I headed to my locker first then to the locker room. I figured I should practice a bit before the actual practice.

Once I walked into the locker room, a few other seniors were there I knew who they were based on their voice and tone. I figured they were, CJ, Halcyon, and Stephan. As I walked up to my locker, I heard another voice a bit softer saying, "Stop could you..?"

I figured that I must of been a freshmen getting the usual tease. I opened my locker and grabbed my pads and lacrosse practice jersey.
"You faggot!" CJ said to the freshman and then laughed.

"Stop it! you really are a piece of shit!" The freshman yelled back at him.

"What did you say to me?" CJ said.

Knowing CJ he was pretty bulky and willing to take on anyone. That bull will rage.

"I said," he anticipated "You are a piece of shit!" The freshman scoffed back.

CRASH!

As soon as I heard the loud crash I immediately rushed over to the other side of the locker room.

"What the hell CJ!" I said as I picked the freshman up from the ground. He was knocked out but still breathing.

"I wasn't going to take any shit from a fresh..." He said in a deep ground voice.

"Hell with that!" I said as I walked up to his face, "Maybe he wouldn't of said any shit if you guys hadn't of picked on him!"
By this point he was taller and up in my face.

"I'm the senior," he belched over my voice. "I can do, say, and hit anything I want!"

"Seniority doesn't give anyone authority!" I pointed in his face surprised he didn't hit me.

"Whatever," he turned to walk out anyway. "Fuck this shit!" He said as he went over to the weight room.

I looked at the freshman on the floor. I didn't want to be the hero and if this kid knew a senior helped him out he would annoy me to death and back, so I just left him there.

With my pads On and my lacrosse stick in my hand I went out to the field to practice some shots. I made about fifty shots out of one hundred and walked over to the bench to take a drink of water. I sat down for a minute and wondered if I should get back to class or stay out here for a while longer. My next class, calculus and college algebra.

I went back into the locker room and stripped off my clothes and took a cold shower. I heard a noise and it was the freshman barely waking up.
"Shit." I whispered to myself.
I took a towel and covered my waist and put on a shirt and some jeans.

"What happened?" The freshman said in a childish voice as he turned to me.

I ignored what he had said because I didn't need to be annoyed for the rest of this year by a stupid kid. I walked out with my bag and went upstairs to my calculus and college algebra class. As soon as I entered the room I sat in the back and worked on the assignment already given to us yesterday.
