MAD CLOWN: 20/20

It was Sunday morning, and you were sitting at a bench waiting for your date. For not being an early bird, you were amazed for waking up and getting ready to exercise with Jo DongRim, aka Mad Clown. You were his hair stylist and he was your client. But after you resigned your position, at Starship Ent and started your own salon business, you two began to freely date outside the workforce. It's been great knowing him for 2 years but actually dating him has only been 3 months and today marks that 3rd month!

You immediately yawned really long and opened your mouth wide, until you quicker heard a sarcastic voice saying, "Wow. I just got here and your bored of our date already?!" It was Jo DongRim! You got up and smacked him. You explained that you arrived earlier than usual and still felt sleepy, it was 8 in the morning...

He grabbed you hands, pulled you up off the bench and said, "Great. Let's get our blood pumping!"

After a brisk 30minute jog around the park you both made it to the playground to rest in the swings. There weren't any kids around and you were slightly tempted to play in the jungle gym, especially that spiral slide. Mad Clown noticed you kept looking over there and so he suggested for the both of you to head up there. You guys were kids at heart and up for the challenge to do anything! With his glasses off and held at hand, he was first to go down the slide. Then it was your turn! However you didn't notice him still on the edge of the slide, so as you came down it was too late--- you crash into him laying on his back and him on the sandy ground. You quickly got up, asked if he was okay, and then apologized! Without a word he walked over by a tree, shut his eyes, and sat there with hand brushing over his hair. You couldn't tell if he was annoyed but he kept looking at the floor as he walked away. "Oh no...his glasses!" You thought. You looked down and saw it covered with sand from the impact of him falling and the lens was slightly cracked. You picked it up, sat by him, and gave it to him. You apologized once more and promised to pay for the damages. When he looked at you slightly squinting. You felt embarassed and your eyes began to tear up. But then he places his arm around your shoulder and said "It's okay don't cry, it was an accident. I'm not upset that my glasses are broken, I just felt really dizzy after you tumbled on top of me." You sighed in relief, but said how it's still your fault for him being not able see clearly.

You closed your eyes and lowered your head in guilt. Suddenly, his hand his placed on your head and said, "But I am upset that I can't see you as well as I'd want to...especially when I want to ask you something. " You look up at him and he locks eyes with you. His hand slowly moves down to your cheek. Your heart began to race! "What is he going to say?! Is he going to kiss me?" You thought. All was silent, until he spoke up first saying, "Will you be my girlfriend?" Your eyes widen and nodded yes. You both smile and as he leaned in first, he says "Perfect." He kisses you and you kiss him back. After slowly pulling away, you shyly ask him, "Now do you see me clearly?" He chuckled explaining that he wore contacts (whenever exercising) and you broke his cheap fashion glasses. It wasn't his plan but seeing you so sad, made him go along with it, and it surprisingly went out well. You teasingly smacked him as he hugs you for forgiveness.

Who knew, that all this time...that poker-faced sly jokester had "20/20" vision. •END•
