It's Going to be a Long Ride (Part 1)

FLASH FORWARD A WEEK LATER

Melody's POV

It has been a week since the boys came to Hawaii for their vacation. Ever since the
the day Seokmin and I reconcile, we've been texting each other almost everyday, but the thing is that our conversations are awkward.

Really awkward.

Whenever we don't have anything else to say, all we would say is "okay", back and forth, back and forth.

Besides Seokmin, Mingyu somehow got my number and started to text me also. The only difference is that I'm more comfortable texting Mingyu than the other.

We would always have our inside jokes and say random shit. For example, out of nowhere, Mingyu texted me "Penis". Not in Korean, but in English. Like how the fluff?

Anyways, I'm finally going to college in a few weeks! YAAAAAAS. My apartment is officially empty, and I'm finally about to head off to the airport. Luckily Selena will be in the front of the building to pick me up and drop me off.

As I got inside her car, many things and questions were popping in my head.

Will I ever be discriminated?
Nah. I probably look like a legit Korean.
Aha no just kidding. I'm hella dark.

What if I mess up on my Korean?

What if I get kidnapped while riding the taxi?

What if I don't find a job over there?
*GASPS*

Is it rude to not say 'thank you for the food" before I eat?

How am I supposed to find friends?

Should I just get out of the car and run back home?

Should I-

"MELODY, YO MAH BITCHHHH" Selena screamed, I finally looked at her direction.

"Geez. I've been trying to call ur name out loud a gazillion times!"

"Whoops, sorry." I looked out the window and realized that we were already here.

"Oh look. We're here!"

"That's what I'm wAS TRYING TO TELL YOU MAYUN (man)" she continued to scream.

"Alright alright alright alrightttt." I started to laugh

As we got out of the car and walked to the terminal, tears started to form in Selena's eyes.

"MELODY LIM. YOU HAVE TO CALL ME EVERY SINGLE DAY AND TEXT ME BEFORE YOU SLEEP EACH NIGHT. JUST DON'T CALL ME ON SUNDAYS BECAUSE THOSE ARE THE DAYS I BABYSIT. OH AND DON'T FORGET TO SKYPE ME WHEN YOU MEET THE ONE BECAUSE I NEED TO HEAR ALL OF THE DETAILS. BRUSH YOUR TEETH, TAKE CARE OF YOUR SKIN, AND STAY FABULOUS. If you need anything, just give a call or text. I'm always here for you. Those are the responsibilities of being a sister." Tears started to form in my eyes now oh my lord.

Four years without this bitch will be so hard. Selena has been my sister and partner in crime ever since pre-school. She was even the first person to confront me when my mom passed away....

"Don't worry Melody. I'll be fine over here. I also need to focus on my studies. We'll see each other over the breaks and go cruising around the islands like how we've always done when we were little. Go now. You still have to go through TSA." I nodded and hugged her.

As we finally separated our ways, I looked back and she still stood there,

"I LOVE YOU BIOTCHHHHHHHHHHHH" Selena yelled. I giggled

"I LOVE YOU TOO YA PIECE OF SHIIII" I screamed back and waved my arm. A couple of people started to give us death stares.

---At the boarding gate---

I finally arrived at the gate after an hour waiting in line and going through security. Thank God I made it in time as they were already boarding people.

"We would now like to board travelers who are seated in first class. Again we would like to board travelers seated in first class."

Guess it's time to go on the aircraft!

I finally got to sit down on my seat which was right next to the window. To be honest, this is actually my first time to travel in first class!

As I was touching random buttons around my seat, a tall young man who happened to found his seat, sat by me. While he was putting his carry on in the compartment above us, I was quietly looking at his figure.

He looks really familiar. I thought.

I continued to stare at him until he sat himself down. He looked at me really weird as if I was some phsyco women. He then slid his sunglasses down to his nose which allowed me to see most of his face.

Lee Seokmin?

"Yah, you sit here?!?!" I said in shock.

Seokmin nodded and show me his ticket. Seat 4B

I then looked at my ticket, Seat 4A. I'll be stuck with Seokmin for the next 10 hours?

"Why, you're not happy to see me?" He asked.

"No, it's just that I'm surprised we're in the same flight, you know?" I chuckled.

"WAHHHHH IT'S MELODY NOONA!!!" Chan stopped at our row as he was looking for his seat.

"Annyeong Dino-shi?" I smiled.

After our small greeting, Chan went to his seat which right behind me.

The rest of the members came in one by one, seeing their faces on how they were all shocked to see me.

Now this, is going to be a hella long ride.
