The rain down poured onto the street below, damping the ground below it. A young girl, with long dirty blonde hair and steely blue eyes made her way out of the school building. Extending a hand to check for rain, she sighed and dropped her blue backpack to the floor.
A young male with black hair and bright green eyes came out of the building with a black umbrella in hand.
"Hello." The boy said to his classmate, who in return just turned her head away from the boy.
Seeing that a conversation was pointless, the boy opened his umbrella and stepped closer to the steps in front of the school house in an attempt to leave the property.
"Listen, I wanted to tell you something." The girl started, causing the black haired boy to stop. He looked at his classmate as a sign to continue. "I wanted to thank you for standing up for me today against Bibi. It was really nice of you." The boy thought over what had happened, a brown haired girl was picking on the girl based on her fashion sense of suit like clothing.
"It was no biggie. Bibi is rude so I had to do something. Here." The green eyed male handed over the protection of the umbrella over to his classmate. The blonde raised an eyebrow as the black haired boy looked over his classmate. Long dirty blonde hair pulled back into a braid with bangs that fell flat on her forehead, steely blue eyes, a white button up underneath a light blue vest, dark blue dress pants and black dress shoes.
Thunder rumbled onto the ground, the flash from the lightning lit up the girl's face, causing the boy to blush. He never really paid much attention to her, she was really pretty.
Hastily, the blonde took the umbrella and held it over her head.
"Thank you." The blue eyed girl said. The boy was about to reply as the umbrella snapped closed on the girl's head. The green eyed boy let out a laugh as his classmate lifted a side of the umbrella open and giggled.
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to laugh." The black haired boy said as the blonde fully reopened the black umbrella and gave a sweet smile.
"It's no big deal." The black haired boy blushed at his companion's smile. "I have to get home, so I'll see you tomorrow. I'll also return the umbrella then." The blonde picked up her bag and made her way off the property with the umbrella in hand.
"Y-yeah I'll see you morrowto, I mean tmorrto, no wait orrotow why am I mixing up my words!?" Another male student came out and placed a hand on the black haired boy's shoulder.
"I have an idea why. You may have fallen for miss Giselle Charlotte Agreste." The black haired boy blushed and shook his head.
"Shut up Nicolas." Nicolas laughed and opened his umbrella.
"I'll help you win her heart man."
Giselle walked in her house's direction and thought over the conversation she just had.
"So who was that?" A pixie like black cat came out from the protection that Giselle's backpack for questions.
"Hugues Bourgeois. Adopted son of the mayor Chloe Bourgeois." The pixie like creature gave out laugh at Giselle's answer.
"I know his mom, hard to believe that her kid would be nice to her enemies kid. Adopted or not." The creature was pushed back into the bag by Giselle.
"Be quiet Plagg. Hugues is a good kid. Bibi is the one we have to look out for. Besides, I consider him a friend." Plagg popped back out and scoffed.
"A friend huh? Wait until his mom hears about that." Giselle rolled her eyes and made her way home. Her and Hugues were friends, and Giselle enjoyed his company for the time being.
She had a good feeling about her and Hugues' friendship
