Dead...?

Nico's POV
Wasn't I dead? why do I still remember my past life? If I was dead, surely, I wouldn't remember?

My eyes felt heavy as they reluctantly opened. Darkness surrounded me, I could just see about an arms length away from my face.

My paws felt something beneath me. Was it Blake? I lost consciousness lying on his chest.

A warm hand started to caress my ears and head softly. I shot up almost instantly.

There he was. Blake, smiling up at me warmly. Dried blood stained the corners of his mouth. I looked further down, finding the would still there.

"N-Nico.... hey.." He croaked, his voice breaking. "Wait... I'm dead.... but... how are you here...?"

Suddenly, his eyes grew wide. I followed his gaze down to my chest. The blade was still pierced into me.

"Shit..." I noticed the light pain around the wound.

"Nico..! Did you..? Did you kill yourself..?!" He asked.

"I... I couldn't live without you... so.... If I couldn't be with you in that life... I will join you in the next.... because........ because I love you...." I smiled.

"I love you too..." He said, returning a smile. He leaned up and connected our lips in a caring kiss.

"Awww!!! My babies!!! I knew you would be perfect for each other!!" We both turned towards the voice. It was familiar... It couldn't be..? Was it....?

*clap* *clap*

The darkness receded as light took its place.

Bellatrix.

"What? You're both giving me that awkward look! Seriously, not my fault!!!" She said, putting her hands up in defense.

"Oh, I should've known!!! We're not really dead are we?" I said, standing up.

"......" She didn't reply.

"Well..?" I asked hesitantly.

"Yeah..... you are.... Both of you... are dead..." She replied rubbing her neck as she stared at her feet sadly.

"Don't worry, Nico... we're together now, and that's all that matters" Blake winced as he struggled to his feet.

"But... wait, Trix. If we're both dead, how are you here?!" I said, worry showing in my voice.

"Oh please. I can travel between realms, surviving in one without any of my powers. Travelling to The Sector is easy. I waited here for two thousand years before buggering off! Plus Karusu was here with me!!" She said proudly.

"The Sector? Karusu?" Blake said, oblivious to what she was talking about.

"The Sector is where we are silly, the centre of everything. Above, heaven, below, the underworld. On one side, reality, the other, a tunnel leading to every make believe world created by those in the world of reality. Amongst those worlds, The Land Of The Forbidden. Our home." I smiled.

"Karusu is a fallen angel who has gone against everything we believe in. He wanted to destroy the difference and leave those who follow his law. Even God has decided he is wrong although the followers of Karusu are religious, straight, normal and follow God's law. Before realising Karusu wasn't right do do those things he thought the same. That is why the people in reality once hated and feared the difference. Now, most of them accept us. Those left are the followers of Karusu." Trix muttered.

"So Karusu is evil?" Blake asked.

"Yes. But that doesn't mean he is a servant of Lucifer, The Devil." I replied.

"He's actually a really nice guy, gay too." Trix beamed.

"Awww! Thanks, Bellatrix!" We all turned our attention to a tall, intimidating man wearing a dark suit behind us.

"Speak of the devil! Lucifer!!" Trix smiled rushing over, throwing herself on the man.

"Hiya, boss." I turned to Blake, who made that comment.

"Boss?" I questioned.

"Blake here is one of my most loyal servants! Well, he made a deal with me to give him the power to protect his lover, at the price of his life. He makes this deal every time he gets reincarnated. I suppose that's you, young one?" His deep voice echoed. He pulled away from the hug with Trix.

"Y-yeah...." I blushed. Blake wrapped his arms around me.

"So. Now my master is here, we can get you two back. Oh, master? How is he?" Trix smiled.

"Currently in a little pain... um... he's fine." Lucifer blushed.

"Ooh!! Finally made a deal with the devil has he? Tell him I hope he gets better, in time for the next round!" She winked, a smirk playing on her lips. Lucifer blushed in reply.

"Uhh... we're still here" Blake sighed.

"Oh right. Best get you back. Nico still needs to loose his virginity!! Let's go!!" She smirked. Rushing to a door which wasn't there before.

"Let's not talk about my butt please" I sighed, following her.

"Still a virgin, hmm?" Blake whispered in my ear seductively before grabbing my butt.

"B-Blake!!" I stuttered.

"Blake you naughty boy! ..... do it again!" Trix smirked before opening the door.

"Hehe." Blake smiled. I pouted in reply.

We all made our way down the corridor, passing dozens of doors. After what felt like ages, we arrived at the door on the very end of the hallway.

"Welcome, to The Land Of The Forbidden!!" Trix shouted, opening the door. On the other side was a balcony overlooking the castle grounds. In the distance we could see the surrounding kingdom.
