Arkos is a ship from rwby that could be sensed with shipper instincts since they met in the episode The First Step chapter 4 volume 1.
Up until that point, everyone assumed he liked Ruby, and tried flirting with Weiss. And unlike many other couples, Pyrrha was friendzoned, not Jaune. And Jaune, being the idiot he is never exactly made it know to the rwby universe what his brain thought about Pyrrha.
"Where will I find another cute, quirky girl to talk too?" ~Jaune
Me yelling at laptop screen. "Pyrrha! Get your oblivious man! Ship, ship!"
It was actually the only ship to sail in rwby but was tragically ended. I won't get into detail unless you want spoilers (Pyrrha died because of freaking Cinder not to mention my favorite villian died too) but its just an opinion that you don't have to agree with.
