The Crash

The next morning I put on my new blue dress and quick sent a picture to Emmalyn with a caption that said:"Wearing the blue one today, sorry I yelled at u yesterday. I might decide to talk to him. It's not so much fun not talking anymore." Then my mom drove me to school. When I got there I went straight to homeroom to sit through six classes till lunch when I will get to talk to Scarlet and Emmalyn... and Tad.

"When lunch finally came I went to my normal table and sat down. Within a few moments Emmalyn and Scarlet were upon me.

"You look so pretty, you should talk to him."

"Well ok can u get hi over here though."

"OK fine."

Emmalyn and Scarlet left the table and I saw them go over to him. I saw Scarlet say something to him like, "Piper wants to see you." And the shock on his face when he looked over at my table and saw the new me was hilarious. Did I seriously look so different?

"Piper?" Tad says as he sits down

"Ummm...Hi."I say. This was so awkward I had never actually talked to him before.

"You...you talk?"

"Yes Tad I'm sorry if i didn't sooner I was to scared and upset to."

"It's ok i kinda could tell that you were hurt and you needed a friend. You look ......"He paused unable to come up with a word." ..Different."

"Ohh thank you.. I think."

"Well, I was very surprised when I looked over here. I should get back now."

"Ok see you later."

"See you later."

Wow. I was not expecting that. The girl that I met was completely gone. She can TALK! I never thought I would get to talk to her. It was surreal. And she's so pretty, prettier than ever. I liked her when I met her, I could just tell she was in need and she was amazing. I know I sound crazy but, it's true. And know she will wow my friends she will never deserve me. I wish I knew what she thought of me. Scarlet said that she liked me while she wasn't looking , but I don't know I wonder if she would go out with me.

The next four classes were hilarious. When I randomly answered a question everyone gasped and i had been asked so many questions. At the end of the day I heard someone calling my name.

"Piper,Piper!"

It was Tad.

"Hi Tad, what is it?"

"I was wondering if ..if you would like to see a movie sometime, the new Star Wars is coming out tomorrow night."

"Like.. a date?"

"I guess. Sure a date."

His cheeks get cherry red and I felt mine get hotter.

"Ok tomorrow night then, I'm so excited for the new Star Wars I've watched all of the old ones."

"I'll pick you up at 7 then. Bye."

As Tad starts to walk away things get darker and before I know it i'm out.
