Chapter 2

Aaliyah's POV:

I see him again. His brown yet evil eyes. His knife coming towards me. He was back. Back to get me. To kill me.

Ricardo.

At first he just stands there. Then he starts walking towards me. He takes his knife and stabs it into my heart. As my sight begins to fade, I see his evil smirk until I black out.

I sit up sweating as a regain reality. It was another nightmare. I been having them ever since that night. Even though he's dead, I feel like he's coming back to get me.

I look to my left to see Connor still sleeping. I wipe my forehead and gently try to wake up Connor.

He finally awakens. "Connor." I whisper.

"Yeah?" He says.

"Are you awake?" I ask.

"I am now. Why'd you wake me?" He mumbles.

"I had a nightmare.." I say and look down. He sits up and pulls me into I tight hug. "You want to talk about it?" He asks softly. I nod and begin to tell him.

I get interrupted by the doorbell.

The fuck?! Who would be ringing our doorbell at 3:00 am?!

Connor and I look at each other and slowly walk to the door. Connor peaks through the blinds.

"I don't see anyone." He says.

"Stupid teenagers.." I say locking the door.. Wait! What the hell?! I locked the door! "Connor what the fuck is going on here?! I locked this fucking door!" I say panicking. That means someone was in our house!

"How is that even possible?!" He cries.

"No this isn't happening. Let's just go to bed." I say slowly moving my hands down my face.

We crawl back into bed and try to fall back asleep. Just as I turned the lamp off, I hear something smash from downstairs. "CONNOR!" I scream and quickly switch the light back on. We both run to the hallway and look down from the balcony. The doors wide open, there's muddy footprints through the small foyer.. And I herd noises from the kitchen.

"Oh my god.." I say and Connor goes downstairs slowly and I follow behind.
