I've been sitting at this park for an hour, and there is literally nothing to do. No one to hang out with. No one to laugh with. No one to spend my weekends with. Heh, I remember when my best friends would come to this park when we were younger.
I stared at the trees and the slides. I smiled lightly, and sighed.
Maybe, I should make new friends. I mean, there's nothing wrong with that. Right? It's not like I'm going to replace my friends or anything.
I stopped thinking when a guy started to walk to the park. He was wearing a white t-shirt and blue jeans. He was pretty cute, but I couldn't see his expression.
What is he doing here?
He walked over to where I was. I was sitting on the top of the tunnel, and my heart started to race for some strange reason. He walked up the steps and stood right beside me. My heart started to race even more.
What is wrong with me?!
He looked up and chuckled, then he looked back down, directly at my face. My face burned a bright red, and I wanted to ask him what he was looking at. But that was obviously me.
"I've never seen such a beautiful girl before" He smiled at me, and his eyes sparkled a light blue shade.
Whoa, he's talking to me.
"Oh, you lost for words" he started to smirk. I cleared my throat.
"Heh, thanks. You aren't that bad either." I looked away, embarrassed. Really, Alexis? That was super lame. He's cute. Why didn't you just tell him that he was cute? I sighed. "Well thanks" He smiled wide, and bite his lip.Wow. He looks super hot. Wait, What am I saying? I don't even know him.
"What's your name?" The words rushed out of my mouth. I covered my mouth and closed my eyes. Well that was smooth.
"The name is Dominic Haze" He laughed. "What's your name, Beautiful?" My face burned a bright shade of red. "My name is Alexis Hudgins" I looked at him, and dropped my hand. The wind whipped through my light brown hair. He kept his gaze at me, and I couldn't look away.
"Nice to meet you." He held his hand out, and I stared at it for a second, and then I took it into my hand. His hand felt so warm in mine. "I guess I'll see you around. I have to go" He let go of my hand, and jumped off the park, and started to walk the other direction.
Woah. Did this just happen? Hm, I guess there is one more thing I have here to look forward for.
I smiled wide, and started to walk back home.
