Years have passed,
seasons went .
every moment
ever spent
was as happy as could be
forever in my memory
all the fights and laughs we had,
all the times you made me mad,
looking back at them today
all special in their own damn way.
Everything we used to be
best of friends, you and me
that's what everyone has seen
but is that all we've really been
no one knows me like you do
everywhere was me and you
now the time has come to part
be still I say my beating heart,
who knows what the future really holds
but the past to me worth more than gold
so I will live my life and try to be
something great just wait and see
