"Beep Beep Beep" I groaned inwardly. The first day of my senior year was supposed to be fun. But what I did over the summer made it my worst night mare. All I could think about as I dragged myself in the shower was how suddenly ever thing had happened. One minute I was playing video games with my little brother the next I was standing upstairs with a gun in my hand covered in blood. My thoughts were interrupted by the beep of my cell phone. As I was toweling myself of, I checked the new message on my phone. It was from an unknown number. It read "I know what you did this summer, and I'm gonna bury you with it." My heart leapt into my throat as my phone fell to the ground. "How would anyone know?" I thought. "I made SURE no one saw." The thought that someone out there knew, ruined my first day as a senior.
"How was the big first day?" Mom asked as I walked through the door into the foyer. "Awful" was apparently the wrong answer. "Well I'm going out of town so your on your own this week." This week was the most important week of my Mothers career. She was a big lawyer and had a huge murder trial going on and she had to go to Albuquerque this week for it. "When are you leaving?" I questioned. "Tonight actually in 10 minutes." 10 minutes! I had barely seen her lately. "Well do you need a ride to the airport?" I wanted to spend as much time as possible with her before she left. "No Jon is picking me up, we have the same flight time so we figured we'd carpool." Perfect. So I have 10 minutes with her. "Alright." I said.
"Bye!" I yelled after her as she ran to the car. "Have a fun trip! Good luck!" "Bye sweetcheeks! She you in a week!" She yelled at me out the window as they took off.
Well that's that. I'm hungry and tired. So I ate some leftovers and went to bed.
That's all for my first chapter! Thank you guys and help get the word out about my book! I'd really appreciate it
When I woke up the next morning, the first thing I did was check my phone. No more messages from my anonymous stalker. Honestly I was scared. If it gets out I could go to prison. Or worse. I pushed it out of my mind. After I showered and got dresses I went downstairs to eat. A bagel sounds good right now. As I opened the fridge a note fell out. I picked it up and opened it, "Scared yet? I sure as hell would be scared of me. I can do damage like no other."
Oh my god. This stalker was in my house. While I was sleeping. I ate and left as fast as I could. I didn't want to be in that house alone anymore.
School was a total drag. I hated all my classes and almost everyone in them. I had lost all of my friends over the summer in effort to detach myself incase I got sent to prison. As I walked through the door I noticed a note on the table. "We need to talk. Meet me in our spot. -A." Aaron. Aaron hadn't tried to talk to me since I told him I hated him. That was an awful day. But I had to detach myself from everyone I loved. Including him. I decided to go to our spot after a bite to eat.
I grabbed my car keys out of the key basket and walked into the garage. As I got into the drivers seat of my brand new Prius, I felt my phone vibrate in my coat pocket. My heart started pounding, knowing it was probably the stalker, being I didn't have any friends. Unknown number. It read "End it with Aaron, tonight. Or I will, except with lots of blood." I started to cry. I hate my life.
As I pulled into the abandoned house lot, I wiped my eyes and applied more mascara.
