Chapter 5

Kiera's POV

We got to the party and everyone dispersed in the crowd and joined the party.

The only person who wasn't there though was Abby because she had dance.

She was a lot like me I could tell we were gonna be friends.

I hung out, mostly danced with Greg, talked to Nicole, Alex, Maya, Kayden, Emmy, Donald, Beca, Jesse, and I started talking to the new girl Evelyn.

She's really nice and funny and I feel like I can tell her anything.

After a few hours I leave with Beca and we get some rest. We have to get ready for the riff off.

We all get to the pool and I pull my jacket on since if was pretty cold out.

I had on my navy blue baseball jacket with a red 'B' on it, a plain white v neck, and bright red skinny jeans with my black converse.

Greg walks over to me before it starts.

"Hey good luck." he said smiling at me.

"Thanks you too." I say giving him a hug.

"Greg?" I hear Abby ask.

"Abby?" He says surprised.

"Oh you guys know each other?" I say smiling.

"Yeah we-" Abby starts to reply.

"Are old friends." Greg cuts off.

"Yeah. Friends." Abby says weirdly.

"Ok well you should get back with the trebles we're starting soon." I tell him.

"Ok see ya after!" He said walking back.

Once all the groups were here we began.

"Welcome to the Riff Off!" Justin calls out, just like last year.

Everyone starts cheering.

"And our first category is..." He spins the dial on the controller, "Katy Perry songs!" He yells out.

Beca runs out to the middle before anyone else can.

We all join her.

Jesse cuts her off and the rest of the trebles join him.

Someone from the high notes goes to cut them off.

This will be interesting.

He laughs.

I thought you'd always be mine!

Justin stops him.

"Another example of the negative effects of weed!" He yells, "You are *clap clap* cut off!"

At least they got the same word this time.

But why do we still let them be a group?

He pulls out the category remote again.

"And our next category is, love songs!"

Beca runs out to the middle again but Kayden beats her.

Maya cuts him off.

Greg cuts her off.

-I just need somebody to lo-ove

I cut him off.

We finish out the song and we win this year!

We won a mic from somebody who preformed that was big in the acapella world but I didn't care, we won!

We cheer and plan to have practice the next day.

I walk up to Greg.

"Hey good job." I smile at him.

"Thanks. You ready to go?" He asked me.

We were going to watch a movie together in the trebles movie room.

"Yup all set." I say.

We get to the trebles house and make our way to the movie room. Nobody was there but us because it was so late.

Each of us picked out a movie and we decided to watch them both.

I picked out silver linings playbook and he picked out zombieland.

We watched silver linings playbook first and it was a pretty good movie.

It was cute and funny.

Next we watched zombieland and before the end I fell asleep.

When I woke up sunlight was streaming through the windows and Greg was asleep next to me with his arm wrapped around me.

I check the time on my phone and it was 11:00 am. Bella's practice started at noon.

"Shit." I say and suddenly get up grabbing my jacket.

Greg wakes up.

"Where are you going?" He sleepily asks.

"I have Bella's practice in an hour sorry." I say heading towards the door.

"Wait!" He said running after me.

"Yeah?" I turn around.

He gives me a kiss and pulls away smiling.

"Have fun. See you later." He said grinning.

"Bye." I say smiling back.

With that I leave to go to my dorm to get ready for practice.

A/N

Hey guysssss sorry this took me so long and it kinda sucks lol but it took me so long cause I had to find all those songs for the riff off and it sucks cause... well it just does lol.

I promise it should get better!

Oh and btw the songs (in order) were
