Start of Something New

I really didn't want to go to school because it was a new school year. Also, I had just moved here a few weeks ago, I have no clue what I should do. Getting up from my warm bed, I wish I could stay but my mother would just wake me up either way. Why should I bother going?
"Kiyomi, are you up?" Yelled Mom.

"Yea I'm up, I'm almost ready" as I run around the room throwing on an outfit. Running downstairs to the kitchen and grab a breakfast bar.

"Bye Mom" slams the door before she replies back.

As I started to walk rain started to pour down. God damn it, where is my umbrella. Then suddenly a random tall figure started its way towards me asking, "Do you need an umbrella?"

As I looked in that direction, I felt my heart was coming out of my chest, I didn't know what that meant. It was a tall handsome guy, he had black shiny hair and I got lost in his eyes. I hesitate and replied, "Um... Yea"

He held the umbrella covering mostly me as we walked to the bus stop together. The bus came rolling down we all got on and we were on our way to school. Why didn't I feel afraid of being next to that guy and now my day had just begun.
