Virginia went up to her room, and gasped.
Strawberry and Strudel looked up.
"Why are you guys making out on my bed?" Virginia asked.
"S-sorry, Virginia" Strudel said. "It won't happen again"
"Of course not" Strawberry said sarcastically. "Because Strudel doesn't know what he wants"
She shoved past Virginia and walked out the door.
Pancake was standing at the top of the stairs.
"Really, Strawberry?" Pancake said. "You knew I liked him"
"Pancake, I told you about my crush on Strudel months ago, and you said you thought of him as your older brother"
Strudel walked out of the bedroom. "Guys, look..."
"Save it, Strudel" Pancake stomped down the stairs and out the back door.
Twister was sitting by the pool alone.
"Hey" Pancake said.
"You okay?" Twister asked.
"Not really" Pancake said, sitting next to him. "I hate high school so far"
"Tell me about it" Twister replied.
"What's wrong?" Pancake asked.
"I like this girl" Twister said. "I've liked her for about two years. And she's hung up on some guy who can't make up his mind"
"Do you like Gobstoppers?" Pancake asked.
"The candy?" Twister questioned. "That's random. I mean, yeah, they're good but-"
Pancake put her finger over his mouth and kissed him.
