"Kick the ball the the side of your foot, not the toe. Come on, this is basic."

I dribble the wall across the field, and hit the ball into the goal post. I had no interest in Offense, but here we cobu, making me play Offense.

The ball bounces into the goal post, and just to make him mad I hit It again at the post with my toe. It clangs and bounces off like before.

He sighs, "Taylor. Come see me after practice."

"I don't want to be playing Offense," I grope, shooting a look that could kill in his direction.

"I don't care what you want to do. You're good at Offense, Taylor. Deal with it. We'll switch you back to Keeper later."

I scuff at him, and we finish up the practice with some drilling and footwork.

"Ugh, I'm so tired. Did you finish the geometry homework?" Alexa pokes my shoulder, and I notice how beautiful she looks with the sun setting to her back.

Alexa, of course, has always been gorgeous. Every boy in the school would kill to be her boyfriend.

"No. I think I'm just gonna skip it tonight. Too tired anyway," I wave it off as I begin to walk off the field, hoping he won't notice me leaving.

"Aren't you supposed to-?" Alexa starts, and I punch her should to make her shut up, not wanting him to have the slightest chance of hearing.

Alexa's light brown hair flows in the sun, and our purple uniforms looks stunning against the bright green grass in the golden lighting.

"Taylor," He calls for me, and I stop, but I don't turn around.

"Told you," Alexa smirks, and her rosy cheeks blush ever harder, "Why would you have an issue with them talking to you? They're hot and everyone knows it."

I shake my head in disgust and hang my head, as Alexa giggles and prances off, where three boys wait for her.

"Taylor, come talk to me."

I sigh and I walk over to him, and his sadly worn out shoes. I refuse to look at him.

"Taylor. You look upset."

"Why would you say that, Chase?"

He looks to his assistant coach, Brendon, who is the real reason everyone thinks the coaches are hot. For some reason, I just don't see it. At all. I think it's gross, actually.

"You took off as fast as you could to get your ball after the team meeting," Chase stares at me critically.

"So? Is that bad?" I sneer.

"Well, no, it's just- you looked upset."

I shift onto my right hip, "You don't have time for me, anyways."

The smaller kids pour onto the field, which causes Brendon to attend to them. Normally, Chase would too.

"You know, Taylor," Chase looks at me, but I can't look back at him, "I should be over there helping to coach the other kids-"

"Okay, why don't you?"

"Because I want to make sure you're okay. Taylor, I'm trying to help you."
