Oh God, what time is it? 12:47 AM! I need to sleep if I want to make it to work tomorrow. As I walked to my room, my phone vibrated in my hand. Redd texted me. What is she doing up? Then again, what am I doing up?

Why do I bother asking when I already know the answer?

Me and Redd have been friends for 4 years now. I had met her at the comic store I work at. We almost instantly became buddies. We bonded over geeky things like comics, anime, video games, and such. She has short, blue hair. I had given her the nickname Pepsi because of said blue hair and her name being Redd. She is a tall girl. Actually taller than me, but I'm not that tall anyway. Only 5 feet and 7 inches. She stands at 6 foot tall. You can usually find her wearing sweaters and skirts which I find to make her even more adorable than she already is. I would most likely have a crush on her if I was straight.

From Pepsi:

Anyway, I was wondering if you would want to come to my friend, Julia's party tomorrow. After work that is.

To Pepsi:

Sure, but you have to promise to stay by my side this time. I don't want it to be like last time.

From Pepsi:

Of course. I'm sorry about last time. I wanna make it up to you. Meet me at my house tomorrow when you're done working, so that we can go to the party together. Now go to sleep. You have a job to get to in the morning. I love you. No hetero tho 😛

I'm not a very social person. I have social anxiety. Last time I went to a party Redd left me alone to probably make out with her boyfriend. I started having a panic attack. 20 minutes later she found me in the corner crying. I should have just left the party, but I was too scared to make my way through the crowd. This party could be good for me if Redd stays by my side like promised. With that thought in my mind, I fell asleep.
