I wake up to the vibrations of my Fit Bit. I look at my phone and see that it is 5:30 a.m. I roll out of bed and head into the bathroom. I turn on my mirrored light and look in the mirror. Great. A huge zit appeared on my nose overnight. I wash my face really quick and take out my treatment and rub a whole glob onto the spot. I leave a little, so it can soak into my skin before I leave for the first day of High School. I am finally a freshman. Not that I am very excited, but it will be a fresh start.
In middle school, my friends drifted apart from me. I was in a group of friends, but after I left the class they were all in during 4th grade, they all left me out of things, so I stayed out of their way, and I met a lot of other people, who I was friends with, but I never met anyone else who was so much of my best friend as that one group. And if I did meet someone who acted like my best friend, they would turn on me after one week and join the other group.
I am going to a new school, with new people, and new experiences. Except for the brattiest of my old group. Brittany. She is the devil's daughter. I swear she is the worst person you have ever met. She ignores everyone except for anyone who is extremely popular and bratty like her, and she thinks she is the best at everything, absolutely everything, but always says she is not, and laughs at everything. One time, a kid named John was sad after his mom died, and she made fun of him for a month after that. I stood up for John a few times, but I couldn't do anything for him about his mom dying. I would go on about Brittany, but there is only one word that can describe her, which is shit.
I go downstairs and turn on my computer. I open up YouTube and go to my subscriptions. I see that Captain Sparklez and PrestonPlayz uploaded new videos. I watch them about 5 times. Every time I laugh more and more. I look down at my clock and it says 7:00. Have I really been watching videos for that long?
I run back upstairs and quickly turn on my Spotify playlist from my phone, then I open up my walk-in-closet. Even though I haven't been very lucky in the social life, I definitely was born blessed. My parents are rich, and I have everything in the house that I could have ever imagined. I grab my favorite shirt, a black crop top with no sleeves. It has a turtle neck that goes halfway up my neck. I throw on some ripped pants and my fuzzy socks.
I walk over to my vanity and open up my vanity drawer. I start to put on my foundation, then my black eye shadow and intense eyeliner. I add strong mascara to finish off my eyes. I like a bold look on my eyes, than a simple look on my lips, so I simply put on a neutral pink toned matte lipstick. I look at my face, I think it's absolutely perfect. I take my brunette hair and put it up in a perfect messy bun. I'm amazed when I look into the mirror and see how well I put myself together on the first day of school, usually I look like a mess.
I put in some hanging cream bird earrings, and adjust my Fit Bit a little, and add a cute charm bracelet. When I check my phone again, the time shows 7:30. Perfect, I can run down get some breakfast and my mom can take me to school. Luckily, I choose a High School that starts at 8:30. It gets out at 3:30, so I don't have as much time in the afternoon, but that's ok, as long as I can sleep in too at least 5:00.
I head down to get some breakfast when I see my brother and his friend sitting down at the table. If anything, I am much more sociable than my brother, so I am surprised to see him with a friend, but I do know his friend, because I have met him many times before. His name is Jordan, and he is definitely the cutest friend my brother has ever had. I have always had a crush on him, ever since I met him, which was when I was in 2nd grade, because I was best friends with his little sister.
"Hey." Jordan blushed at me, which made be the slightest but confused. Who am I kidding, I am sure he could see the confused look on my face. There is no way Jordan likes me.
"Sup." I say casually. I walk over and take a cutie out of the fridge, along with a hardboiled egg and a Cinnabon cinnamon roll that I bought the previous night. "Mom! I have to get to school!!"
My mom comes stumbling down the stairs, and she says,
"Ok! Ready!" She exclaims. "I can't believe you are finally a freshman!" She kisses me on the cheek, and I blush, mainly because Jordan is watching this whole thing.
I grab my new teal backpack with lace, then I grab my phone and jump into the car.
