i did a very brief research session on the purpose of uppercase letters, and from my understanding, lots of people are also wondering about the purpose of uppercase letters.
"what is the need for uppercase letters?" they would ask.
we all know we're supposed to use them on all proper nouns, and on words at the beginning of sentences.
but why?
there were also some who believed that capital letters gave purpose to a name or sentence.
a he or she, said capital letters help make headlines and titles draw in viewers.
but why?
the shit kills me. in my mind it makes no sense.
do you think it makes sense?
that is for you to decide, but to me figuring out the purpose of uppercase letters is like trying to find the meaning of life, love, and hate.
i'm definately not talking about the dictionary definition either.
