RECAP

"It's really nothing. But stretching actually tightens the muscles, rather than relax them. She probably has joint problems because of stretching. But some physical therapy will help." He moved on to my arms. "Her left arm is fractured here. Her right arm didn't take as much damage. But we're going to put a cast on her left arm to fix the fracture." He moved onto my back. "There's nothing wrong with her spine at all, nor her ribs." He turns to Finnick. "You're lucky that these injuries aren't serious." He turns back to Mom. "We're putting her on some pain killers for the next 2 weeks. She'll take them twice a day, one in the morning and one at night. But, while on the medicine, do not take over the counter pain medicine. Now, Zuri, we're now going to go put your cast on. Would you like to take someone with you?" I quietly said no, and he wheeled me out of the room.

I really didn't feel like talking. Everything after Dr. Love wheeling me out of the room is a blur. I think I fell asleep in Austin's shoulder last night, because I woke up with him next to me.

"Good morning, sleepy head. What's the plan, stan?"

END OF RECAP

"What plan?" I ask, half awake.

"Your plan to decide how you're gonna choose who to marry silly!" He looked at my confused face. "You were talking about it last night. You don't remember?" I signed "no". "Well, I guess you were talking in your sleep."

I shrugged my shoulders and tried to get up, only to get a sharp pain shot through my back.

"Oh, do you wanna go to your room?" Austin asked. I nodded. He got up off the couch and fireman carried me off the couch and up to my room. "Do you want me to stay?" I mouthed no and he walked out.

'Ok, Zuri. You need to learn how to not talk in your sleep.' I thought. 'But now I do need to come up with a plan.' I looked around the room, spotting my desk. I can come up with a plan there. I tried to get up, but again, failed. 'Now how am I gonna get to the desk?' I looked around more and spotted my wheelchair I got from Daddy. I've had it since I can remember. I gently go off the love seat couch and onto the ground. There I started crawling towards the wheelchair. Thank god for my upper body strength. I pulled myself up to the chair and wheeled over to the desk. I moved the chair and wheeled myself into the desk. I got out a piece of paper and a pencil.

My plan to decide who to Marry

I thought for a while and wrote down the ideas that seemed practical.

1) Base the decision on their treatment to me throughout high school

This one had a obvious choice.

2) Spend one month living with each of them in the summer home and base the decision on who I liked living with most

This one seemed the most fair.

3) Flip a coin

This one isn't fair. The heads side is heavier than the tails side. I crossed this one out.

4) Have Mom decide

Ugh. No. I crossed this one out, too.

5) Have Daddy decide

Maybe.

6) Let my heart decide

My heart does know what is best for me.

I thought for a long time. The first choice was obviously Austin, and it didn't seem fair the Finnick. So, no. Daddy could decide Finnick. So, no to him, too. My heart would choose Austin in a heartbeat, no pun intended. But I like my second choice, too. I decided to flip a coin. Heads: my heart. Tails: One month of each.

I flipped the quarter and watched it flip in the air, making a somewhat loud noise. I smiled when I saw what the coin said.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
What do you think the coin landed on? I know what it is. I'm sorry it's short but I wanted to stop on the coin flip thing so deal with it.
