Survival

Chapter 1

I got on the plane and went to seat G1. There were already a few people on putting their luggage in the overhead compartments. I took off my black book bag and took out a book and my Ipod touch 4. Closing it again I put it in the compartment. I sat down and took out my Ipod. Scrolling through my games I decided to play White tiles 4. I selected sky mode and stacked my tower as high as I could. I got it up to 54 before I finally failed. "Dang it" I mumbled. Looking up I realized that everyone was in their seats. I looked down the isle and saw the stewardess coming by with earbuds for the touch screens in the back of the seats. "Thank you" I said when I got mine. She moved on and I put the earbuds in the empty seat next to me.

The plane was taking off. It  started down the runway and angled upwards. I was heading back to Florida to meet up with my parents who flew ahead of me. I stayed back in Okinawa to be with my grandparents and cousins. My parents decided that, being 18 years of age, I would be fine to fly on my own. Oh how wrong they were.

I turned off my Ipod and took out my book, The Royal Ranger, and read until the plane leveled out. Will had just accepted to take Maddie out on a mission, I read on. What a ranger died? Will and Maddie had just booked a room at an inn when the plane finally leveled out. Put my bookmark in my book, closed it, and set it in the empty chair next to me. Plugging the earbuds into the jack under the screen I scrolled through my options. Hmmmmm I haven't seen The Princess Bride in a while. I tapped play on one of my favorite movies and waited. The screen came to life with a kid in his room playing video games.

A couple hours later the grandfather was saying "The end." I realized that I needed to go to the bathroom. I got up and headed to the back of the plane. Now that my attention was not distracted, I jumped at the turbulence. Making it to the bathroom I opened the door and stepped inside. Then the plane started to shake violently. I fell on the ground hearing the screams coming from outside. I opened the door just in time to see the front half of the plane come off. Below was ocean with the beach of an island. I immediately jumped back inside the bathroom as if that would save me. I threw myself against the floor and hoped for the best. I heard a crunch and terrible cracking sound. I flew against the wall of the bathroom and passed out.
