Undertale One-Shots

Alphys X Reader

Okay so I'm gonna try and do a one-shot for each main character I can from Undertale. Some may involve character X reader, some may just be between characters. Let's start with the cute little awkward Alphys!

*Knock Knock Knock*

"Just a minute!"
You rush downstairs excitedly to greet your best friend Alphys, who timidly asked if she could spend the day with you the night before, since King Asgore has let her have a break from working in the lab all of the time. Obviously, you said yes in an instant, and both of you were extremely excited to see each other since you've not seen her much recently. You couldn't wait to show Alphys the newest addition to your anime collection upstairs in your room, and knowing your best friend would have bought tons of anime to watch with you herself, you prepared a large variety of snacks overnight to satisfy you both for hours on end whilst you have your anime marathon.

You open the door and there stood your lovable little friend, with a slight blush on her face and holding, obviously, a bag bulging with Anime DVDs. Your eyes lit up as soon as you saw her, and you gave her a big, loving hug, which only caused Alphys' blush to become more obvious.

"Hey Alphys! I've missed you so much!" You chirped happily. Alphys smiled at you and stuttered
"H-hello (Y/N)! I've m-missed you too! I'm so happy that the King gave me a b-break from my w-work! L-look! I've brought some more a-anime for us to watch!" She held up the large bag happily, and you took it from her before she could protest.
"Come in!" You said "I've got the snacks prepared upstairs for us, and I've got a new anime for us to look at! It's called Ouran Highschool Host Club! Apparently it has a lot of fit boys in it~" You wiggled your eyebrows and Alphys giggled. Gosh, you thought, her laugh is adorable!

You will admit that you've had a little bit of a crush of Alphys, and as much as you try not to think thoughts like those, you can't help it. At least they're true, right?

You both settled down on your bed to watch your new series and you both stuffed yourselves full of junk food whilst you watched. You both blushed when you realised that this anime was a bit more 'forward' than you intended it to be. You continued to watch, and as you did, you noticed Alphys scoot a little bit closer to you every half an hour, until she was almost touching you. She didn't seem to notice what she was doing, and you decided to be brave and take hold of her warm hand. She looked at you, surprised, and her face was the colour of a beetroot. You giggled at her reaction and stuffed a potato chip into her mouth before she could comment on your actions. She simply smiled and squeezed your hand back, and now it was your turn to blush. If only she knew how much she made my heart race, you thought to yourself.

Later on, you decided to switch from watching anime to watching one of Mettaton's movies. Alphys was so proud of Mettaton's achievements ever since she created him, and it made you happy to see her so excited and enthusiastic over her creation.

A sad part of the movie came up, and Mettaton was singing a beautiful song, that brought tears to your eyes. You felt a weight against your shoulder and you glanced over to see Alphys sound asleep. You smiled at how adorable she looked, and laid down next to her, and through all the time that had passed you were still holding hands.

You fell asleep next to her as Mettaton finished his song, curled up in each other's arms, and you knew that things could only get better from here.
