Papyrus X Mettaton

Ahhh, one of my favourite ships in Undertale. I love these two so much! ^_^

Papyrus rummaged through his closet, desperately trying to find a suitable outfit for today. Today, he and Mettaton were going on a date! He couldn't believe it! He finally picked out his iconic 'Cool Dude' outfit and rushed to put it on. He had to go and meet Mettaton at the MTT Resort in an hour! As he was rushing to pull on his boots, his brother Sans strolled into his room. He glanced at Papyrus and sighed.
"Wow bro, you sure are excited to see that scrap of metal aren't ya?" He grumbled.
"SANS!" Papyrus complained " Don't call him that! He's a very caring person and I'm not letting you ruin tonight for me! Because I, the great Papyrus, must make a fantastic impression to make sure Mettaton falls instantly in love with me! I will not fail! Nyeh heh heh heh!" He finished lacing up his boots and stood up to go. "Now Sans you must feed your pet rock tonight as I won't be able to do it! And please clean up your dirty socks off the living room floor! They're starting to really smell! And you must make your own spaghetti tonight, or go to Grillby's. I'm sorry the great Papyrus can't cook for you tonight brother!"
"Heh, it's fine Pap. But let me know if that he treats you badly, because if he does, he's gonna have a bad time." Sans reminded his older brother for the fifth time today.
"No worries brother! The great Papyrus never gets any trouble from anyone! I'll be fine! Goodbye brother, I'll make sure to have fun!" Papyrus hugged his brother.
"Have a pun time Pap." Sans chuckled.
"SANS!" Papyrus complained before slamming the door and jogging off to the store. He must buy some flowers for Mettaton to make a good impression!

A while later, Papyrus arrived at the MTT Resort just in time, and headed to the main lobby to greet his date. He glanced around the room nervously, anxious to find Mettaton, when all of a sudden a low robotic voice whispers in his ear, "Papyrus, darling, are those roses for me?".
Papyrus turned to see a very attractive robot looking lovingly at him, and Papyrus confidently handed Mettaton the flowers and exclaims happily, "Why, yes they are Mettaton! I knew roses were your favourite flowers, so I got them for you in order to show you my love! Nyeh heh heh!" Papyrus noticed that Mettaton had a slight shade of red covering his metallic cheeks, and that made Pap seem tremendously proud of himself. Mettaton gave his flowers to Burgerpants and demanded that he puts them in the finest vase and looks after them until he's back, which Burgerpants reluctantly agrees to.
Mettaton then turns back to Papyrus gives him a gentle hug, thanking him happily, before inviting him to have a meal with him in the dining room.

Papyrus happily agrees and strides off to the dining room, whilst holding Mettaton's hand. He holds out a chair for Mettaton to sit down on and once he does, Papyrus politely pushes him in. Once Papyrus sits down himself, Mettaton strikes up a conversation.
"So darling, what are your aspirations in life?" He questions, to which Papyrus answers happily, "Oh, that's easy! To become the greatest chef in the entire Underground, to become part of the Royal guard, to be the greatest friend and brother ever, and of course to make you happy Mettaton! I like you a lot!"
Mettaton looks at Papyrus with wide eyes, before turning away to attempt to stop himself from flushing bright red. He hears Papyrus' 'Nyeh heh heh's' of satisfaction and flushes even redder, before picking up the menu in front of him. Papyrus copies him.
"Hmmm, Mettaton, do they have spaghetti here?" Papyrus inquires.
"No darling, but I can ask Burgerpants to make some for you!" And with that Mettaton requests for some spaghetti for his date, whilst ordering a salad for himself.

The two both enjoy their dinners and bond quite a lot throughout the time they've spent together so far. Then, all of a sudden, Mettaton stands up and grabs Papyrus' hand to pull him into the theatre, where many monsters are already sitting there, excited for the show.  Mettaton asks Papyrus to sit down and he does without any hesitation. Mettaton tells Papyrus to enjoy the show, and walks off behind stage, anxious that he might mess up his performance. Every time he performs that night  he glances at the adorable skeleton, who is always clapping away for Mettaton's success. Finally, the peak of the show is about to start. Mettaton walks out nervously in a tuxedo suit and says into the microphone, "This final song is for my amazing date, Papyrus" and the crowd is filled will 'Ooooo's' and 'Awwww's' as the robot begins to sing lovingly into the mic.

"Papyrus,
You're amazing,
And I hope,
We will stay together,
Even if,
Sans hates me,
I will stay,
And yours I'll be!
Without you,
I'd be so lonely,
And I love you,
My dear Papyrus"

Mettaton finishes with a flourish and he sees Papyrus near tears from his performance, and he looks extremely happy. Mettaton felt like he's never done more of a better performance in his life than this one, and with a wave he walks offstage into the shadows.

Later on, Papyrus is getting ready to leave, and is still emotional from Mettaton's performance. He hugs Mettaton one last time for the night and they exchange numbers before he leaves to go home.

That night, Papyrus is laying in bed, reading a very romantic message from Mettaton. And he was pretty sure he made a brilliant impression on his new, amazing boyfriend, as Mettaton certainly left the best impression ever on him.

I had no idea on how Mettaton's song would go, just wanted it to kinda match with the romantic song he sings in the actual game. Anyways, I hope you enjoyed! ^_^
