May 26th, Thursday night. It was warm, warm but had a swift, cool breeze. Several vehicles rolled through, all varying in size. From limos to convertibles, boys and girls each stepped out, unveiling their attire for the night. It consisted of extravagant, eccentric, while also including traditional and rather simple dress wear. The atmosphere was vivid, so lively and colorful. As the doors opened, balloons lied everywhere. It seemed to be a grand hall, so very regal and profligate. Everyone walked in, pair by pair, couple by couple. Chandeliers hung by the dozen, fancying lights as bright as diamonds. Two stair cases with a hallway meeting in the middle on the opposite sides of the room completed it's look of royalty. The band commenced playing, it was a soothing tune, fit for a slow dance.
Out of everyone who attended this event, she stood out the most. Yes, she, she was beautiful beyond any words. She modeled a deep passionate red which spoke of lavishness and prideful apathy. It was a long dress, dragged on the ground as she walked. Her outfit compiled of gold accents as well as jewelry. Hair long, swaying along her back. Her date seemed to be rather indifferent towards her, not uttering a word the whole night. She never passed a second glanced at anyone. A cacophony of music enveloped the entire room as the night continued. Other than her, of no name, there was he, he of no name. He donned a richly garnet colored slim suit, completely formal, with those of gold details and accessories. Unlike his date, he was very distant and showed no interest in her. He walked with a swagger of a millionaire, bearing a trillion dollar smile revealing two dimples, one in each cheek. His grin was large, he loved these type of social events. He wanted to get a better view, to know what it is to look down on others while being unnoticed. He carried his wine glass as he walked up the stairs, foot after foot, step after step. He carried himself in such a manner that he could be mistaken for a prince. He reached the top of the steps and began walking towards the railing. Looking to his left he saw a figure in the near distance. His face contorted, he wasn't able to make it out. His vision was blurry, but as soon as it cleared he could see who it was. It was her, her of no name.
His heart began to jump, he smiled seductively. He never thought he'd see "her" again.
She looked to her right, it was him for sure. She couldn't help but to stare, him smile was captivating but she couldn't stand him. Not from recent memory.
Her beauty was intoxicating, he thought.
She tore her glance away and began to leave the scene. He couldn't stand to let her walk away, not again. He quickly followed, leaving his drink behind him. Grabbing her arm, he pulled her towards him, they could feel each others' breath upon both of their faces. They stared at each other for a quick second, then she ripped away, vanishing in the crowd.
His face spoke of awe watching the trail of beauty behind her.
Throughout the night, he continued to see her. She avoided him at all costs, acting rather rude.
Finally he caught her in a corner, somewhat forcibly making her speak to him. She couldn't bare not speaking to him anyways, she loved him, she always has. He always had a way into her heart no matter what.
He spoke to her softly, softly and seductively. Enough for her to throw herself at him. They began to kiss, kiss as if they were making up for lost time. He picked her up, still kissing her.
She wrapped her legs around him as he carried her to the room down the hall. The atmosphere in the room was very intense and intimate. She quickly undid his shirt and tie, rubbing his back sensually as he unzipped her dress displaying her bare body. He entered her, starting from the wall to the floor to the bed, they were all over. Rubbing their bodies together, sensually, intimately, intensely, seemingly intertwining each other's bodies. Time stood still, as if the universe paused for this very moment. Sweat trickled down her body. He sent chills down her spine, kiss after kiss. From her neck to her shoulder, down to her breast and clitoris. His tongue moving in various motions, giving her the pleasure she had missed for so long ever since their incident. That memory just vanished from both of their minds. From powerful thrusts to slow meaningful strokes.
It wasn't just sex, it wasn't just one night, this was the opportunity for them to recapture their love before it managed to get away. They made love to each other.
Though the band continued to play. Behind the closed doors of the bed room, there was an uproar of moans and groans, followed by loud banging and yells.
They managed to reach a climax like no other. A feeling that could only be described as a lightning shock traveling through both bodies, giving both pain and pleasure. Biting and scratching. No remorse in the bedroom.
Afterwards they both breathed heavily, next to each other, bodies enveloped in sweat overlapped by the velvet sheets that covered the bed. They turned to each other, both on their sides, eye to eye. She hid her face as he smiled at her. She always blushed when he did that. He grabbed her hand and pulled it close. He kissed it, she smiled and uttered the words "I love you."
He smiled wholeheartedly and replied
"I love you too."
