Take Risks
"Your heart races. Your blood is pumping. Every nerve feels alive. Along with the excitement there's that breathtaking rush of danger and risk. An irresistible combination. Most people have very few chances in their daily life to feel that rush that comes from pushing themselves to limits and winning against great odds." Most people try to avoid risk as much as possible but for some people risk is there business. They put things on the line to participate in that activity. But the payoff is that incredible rush that comes from doing what they love. It's true. Most people don't push themselves or take risks because they are afraid of what other people think. Well stop worrying! Don't you want to feel a rush of freedom, a sense that you can do anything you set you heart to? Many times in my life have people criticized my passions, believes, ect. How can somebody tell me what I love and don't when I haven't even found my true purpose, passions, and goals yet? The key is to not care what other people think. With this society you will always be judged and you can't change them so we must change the way we take it. Take it as a way to become stronger and say thank you. Do what you love and makes you happy. It may be hard to get there and finish but don't stop. Because its better to say "We'll try again tomorrow" than "I wish I would have ________." Trust me. Life is short. A little too short. No matter what age you live up to it will never be long enough so make the most out of it. If you don't do what you love you'll regret it. Even if you think you are happy you will never truly be happy because you can't be happy if aren't doing what you love.
To me, taking risks isn't only about bungee jumping, sky diving, and whitewater rafting. It is also going after your dreams and doing what you love. This is one of the biggest risks you can take because your putting society aside and dropping any negativity, risking your worrys on what people think and there judgements and putting your happiness on the line yet in the end if you don't give up you can have all the happiness in the world. 80% of people in the world are not satisfied with their employment because they are struggling beetween going for their passion or a reasonable paycheck. This shouldn't be.
Another risk is standing up for what you believe in. Although sometimes sometimes its just not worth it to fight but you need to stand up for what is right even If it means standing alone. Standing up may not always work. In fact it has not always turned out great for me. But try because you will always be satisfied deep down inside because you tried.
So take risks and live life the way you want to. Don't let society manipulate you anymore. One minute you're on the water, the next your heart skips a beat as you're soaring through the air performing aerial tricks with your feet still attached to the board. When you land back on the water the kite continues to pull you along at breath neck speed. This does not only refer to kitesurfing but once you take a risk it will change you for the rest of your life and you will always feel a sense of freedom and that rush of adrenaline...
