-----------------

The next morning I woke up with a banging headache. Oh no. I moved about and felt some arms around me, I opened my eyes and saw Nathan's sleeping face near mine. I wonder if I could kiss him- yep I'm still tired.

"It's rude to stare," Nathan mumbled.

I blushed, "I wasn't staring," I muttered as he looked down at me with a smirk.

"Course not." He chuckled.

I rolled my eyes, "get your arms off me, my head hurts. Why does my head hurt? Did you drug me? Oh god, you tried to murder me didn't you! I have pepper spray!" I cried as I sat up.

He rolled his eyes and sat up as well, "no I didn't. You got drunk last night," he rubbed his eyes.

I tensed up immediately, "drunk? What? How?" I stuttered.

"That guy you were dancing with obviously spiked all your cokes with vodka. You should be more careful." Nathan muttered.

"Did we... Erm, did we..." I trailed off and looked downwards.

"Fuck?" He asked, a smirk appearing on his lips, "no we didn't but I bet you wish we had." He winked.

I glared at him, "in your dreams, Nathan. I can't believe that guy spiked my drink... This is why I don't drink. How drunk was I?" I asked fearfully.

"Well, you were a ninja last night and you claimed that you wanted to be a potato in Toy Story then you said that I was potato-ist and then you started jumping on my bed and then you were sick, " Nathan chuckled at the memory and trailed his fingers on my arm.

I groaned, "oh god... Never drinking ever again. I'm so stupid! I can't believe I even went to the party, what was I thinking?" I muttered to myself.

"Lexi. Answer me seriously. What is the real reason why you don't drink?" Nathan asked, raising an eyebrow.

"It doesn't matter," I mumbled, rubbing a hand over my face, "can I go brush my teeth? I can still taste the alcohol. And do you have any paracetamol?" I asked.

Nathan nodded his head, "I'll go get it. You go brush your teeth." He said and climbed off the bed before leaving.

I sighed and ran a hand through my bed hair before getting out of the bed. A wave of nausea washed over me and a headache came rushing back as I carefully walked to the bathroom. I brushed my teeth and went to the toilet before leaving but I bumped into Jess on the way out.

"Hey, you're Lexi, right?" Jess asked, smiling.

I nodded my head, giving her a small smile, "hi Jess."

"Nathan is making you some breakfast," Jess said before going into the bathroom.

I frowned before heading downstairs slowly and went into the kitchen. Nathan was make a bacon sandwich, "what are you doing?" I asked laughing softly.

Nathan shrugged, "not for you, it's for me," he said before handing me a glass of water and the tablets. I drunk the water and took the tablets feeling a little better.

"Oh aren't you nice?" I said sarcastically.

Nathan smirked, making his lip ring more visible. It glinted under the kitchen lights. It was nice feeling his lip ring against my lips, come to think about it... Huh? What? Did I just say that? No it wasn't. Snap out of it, Lexi! No! No! No! No!

"Baby, I try to be," he winked before he finished making his sandwich.

He sat down at the table and began to eat. I just looked at him before stealing half of his sandwich ignoring his glare and bit into it, "it's good," I nodded in appreciation.

"Fuck you. You are going to regret doing that," Nathan said slowly.

I shrugged and stood up, "at least I got something to eat before I die. By the way, this sandwich is really nice," I teased and took another bite.

He glared at me before finishing off his other half while I was in the middle of eating mine. He stood up and put his plate away before giving me a dirty look, "uh oh." I mumbled. I ran away while clutching the sandwhich for dear life.

"You stole my sandwich!" He yelled in annoyance as he chased me.

I yelped when he nearly touched my hand before running into his bedroom laughing, "it was nice! You still got half!" I shouted back.

Nathan came into his room and slammed his door. He raised an eyebrow at me before walking towards me. I backed away from him before falling onto the bed. I scooted back as far as I could go before Nathan was in front of me.

"You still stole my sandwich," he muttered with a playful smirk.

I giggled at his face before poking his cheek, "baby," I teased.

He grabbed my hand and fell onto the bed as well. He landed on top of me.

"Are you ticklish?" He asked as he looked down at me.

I looked at him in horror, "you wouldn't," I said.

He chewed on his lip ring before answering, "I would," then he started to tickle my sides.

I squealed at him to stop but he ignored me, "Nathan! Nathan stop it!" I giggled. I squirmed under his grip as he carried on tickling me.

"Say you won't steal my sandwich ever again," he smirked.

"Fine! I won't steal your sandwich ever again now let go of me!" I yelled.

Nathan stopped tickling me leaving me breathless, "fuck you," I whispered out of breath.

"Okay," he winked and leaned down to kiss me. I roughly shoved his chest.

I rolled my eyes, "oh you're so funny." I said.

"You going to the party tonight?" He asked.

I gave him a dirty look, "where you not listening to what I said earlier? Of course I'm not going! I'm actually going to stay at the dorm, watch a movie and stuff my face with pizza. You're welcomed to join me if you like," I offered.

Nathan smirked, "is that just a polite way of saying 'fuck me Nathan'?"

I flipped him off, "fine then, don't." I muttered.

He shrugged, "it could be a blast, I guess. I mean, we are trying to be friends now," he said.

I nodded my head and then slowly said, "so you are ditching a party to hang out with me? Seriously?"

He glared at me, "fine then. I won't," he snapped.

I shook my head quickly, "no you can! It's just I didn't think you would want to..."

"Why do you think that?" He asked.

"Well we don't exactly get along, do we?" I said slowly.

Nathan shrugged, "well we are trying to be friends so I'm gonna try and get along with you. No matter how much it kills me," he teased.

I rolled my eyes at him, "whatever, farmer boy," I joked.

"Shut up, new girl," Nathan replied, rolling his eyes before someone walked into his room. Austin. What was he doing here?

"Well isn't this cosy?" Austin smirked. I shivered when he looked at me.

"Why are you here?" Nathan asked coldly, his face clear of any emotion.

Austin chuckled, "well you weren't replying to my texts, mate. So I thought I'd swing by. Your sister is lovely, by the way," Austin winked. Nathan glared at Austin with so much anger that I felt scared.

"If you go anywhere near her or try anything with her then I will take so much pleasure in beating the crap out of you," Nathan spat, "again."

Austin held his hands up in surrender, "of course, mate. Just so long as you do what you need to do. Looking sexy Lexi, just thought I'd let you know. Hey, I like that nickname. Sexy Lexi," Austin winked.

I grabbed the cover and held it in front of me.

"I remember you in my shirts," Austin carried on.

I quickly tensed up as Nathan shot me a confused look, "fuck off," I spat.

"What are you going on about, Austin?" asked a very confused Nathan.

"Oh, she hasn't told you?" Austin raised his eyebrows, obviously enjoying himself.

"Told me what?" asked Nathan. Austin looked at me challengingly. I held his stare.

"Nothing," I replied without breaking eye contact. I was so worried that Austin would let it slip. I think God heard my prayers because at that moment Austin's phone beeped. He sighed irratably and pulled it out.

"As much as I would love to stick around for this conversation, I have some business to attend to. Remember what I said, Nathan," Austin said warningly.

Once he left Nathan shot me a very confused look, "what was he going on about?" Nathan asked.

I shook my head, "it doesn't matter," I snapped.

Nathan glared at me, "tell me, Lexi. Now." He ordered. I glared right back at him.

"I don't have to fucking answer you! Don't you dare order me around!" I shouted, my voice making me sound much more comfident than I really was. I stood up and grabbed my phone. I was about to text Brooke to ask her to pick me up but Nathan snatched my phone.

"Hey!" I yelled.

"Tell me what he meant," Nathan ordered.

I glared at him, "I don't have to tell you anything!" I shouted.

Nathan laughed coldly, "baby, if you want to leave you will tell me." He snapped.

I pushed his chest annoyed, "why can't you just leave me alone? I don't keep asking you about Vicky now do I?" I snapped.

Nathan's glare hardened, "don't you fucking mention her name." He shouted.

"Oh, Vicky? What happened with her Nathan? I mean, you are asking about Austin why can't I ask about Vicky?" I asked, knowing that I was walking on very thin ice.

Nathan stepped closer to me, "shut up," he muttered angrily.

"No! You know what? I don't even know why I thought we could be friends, you are so frustrating!" I yelled.

"So are you!" Nathan shouted back at me.

I took this oppurtunity to grab my phone back. I jumped off the bed and walked to the other side of the room. Nathan didn't come after me. I texted Brooke, asking her to come and get me. She said she was on her way and she'd be here in 5 minutes. I didn't look at Nathan as I picked up my things. I felt a lump in my throat.

"I'm sorry," Nathan choked out. I turned to look at him but he was staring at the ground and chewing his lip ring.

"What?" I asked in disbelief.

"I said I'm sorry, okay? Vicky is a touchy subject. I... I hate talking about her. How about this. When you tell me about Austin, I promise I'll tell you about... Her," His face had softened and he looked... Vulnerable.

He looked as if he were so close to tears. I suddenly felt so bad about the shouting. I wanted to go over to him and give him a hug. I wanted to comfort him. I wanted to tell him that I didn't mean any of those things.
I didn't do any of those things. Instead, I took a deep breath and prepared muself. I never thought I would ever say this to Nathan.

"Nathan. I'm sorry too. Can we try being friends again?" I gave him a smile. He looked up at me through his fringe. He smiled at me and nodded. It wasn't one of his arrogant smirks. It was a genuine smile. I didn't think he was capable of doing one of those.

"So, are we still up for that pizza and film you were talking about earlier?" he asked hopefully.

I broke out into a grin.

"Yeah, I'd really like that," I nodded.
Maybe being friends with the Bad Boy wouldn't be too bad after all...
