Chapter 4

Jack g p.o.v

Johnson has been acting crazy lately.

We went to the store and he bought barbies.

Yes barbies.

He called one jilly and the other jack.

I didn't know what to do.

I walked into his room and saw him on the floor talking to "jilly".

" jack what are you doing ?" I asked

He looked at me then at the doll.

" I'll be right back " he said

I rolled my eyes and sat him down in a chair.

" do you know how crazy you sound ?" I asked

" what do you mean ?" He asked

" you ! Playing with barbies and obsessing over jilly !" I screamed

" I'm not obsessed !" He said

I ran to the bed grabbed the barbies and jack followed.

We wrestled until I threw the barbies out the window.

Jack fell to the floor.

" yes your are " I said

Jack stopped and look at me.

" wow maybe I am " he said

" no duh " I answered

Carter p.o.v.

I started to clean my room when I heard my mom yell for me.

" Carter come down please " she said

I went downstairs and saw a girl.

This was a usual  thing for her.

She decided my obsession with Brayla brin was completely stupid and is trying to get me a girlfriend.

She has invited over a new girl each day, mostly one of her friends kids and tried to hook us up.

" yea mother " I said using my " good teenager voice " and stood by her.

" carter this is Maggie she is MRS.Lindemann's daughter " she said.

Maggie looked at me and gave a fake smile.

" I remember how good you two got along at the Christmas party last year so I invited her to eat with us " my mom said.

I burst into laughter

My mom hasn't had a Christmas party in 10 years and I havnt seen her sense I was six.

If I remember correctly we didn't get along.

I tried to talk to her and she wouldn't talk to me becuase she thought I had cooties.

Then I ignored her and she started crying saying I was being mean.

My mom ignored my laughter and left to go cook dinner.

I decided I would try and be nice to Maggie and I sat down across from her.

" so how are you ?" I asked

She put her sunglasses on and acted like she was way cooler then me.

About 15 minutes of us on our phones and ignoring each other my mom called us for dinner.

We sat down next to each other at the table and my mom brought out mashpotatos and chicken.

She passes the food around and Maggie acted like an Angel.

" thank you so much !" She said

I rolled my eyes and started to eat.

" oh my goodness this is so amazing " she said to my mom

My mom smiled and continued to eat.

" so how are you to doing ? Getting along ?" She asked

Maggie grabbed my hand

" totally ! Carter is amazing " she said.

" Good ! " my mom said taking our plates and almost skipping into the kitchen.

I pulled my hand away from Maggie and glared at her.

" what was that ! Why are you being so nice all of a sudden ?" I asked

"  ugh I'm only doing it to be nice to your mom so I don't break up my mom and your moms friendship ! I'd rather be shot then be here with you on my own free will! Let alone date you !" She screamed

Geez she is totally a keeper ( sarcasm ).

After Maggie finally left I had the normal convo with my mom on how I wasn't ready for a relationship but one day.

She believed me every time.

Magcon was one week away and I couldn't wait.

I went into my room and started skyping Nash while we planned what to pack for la and what to where to Magcon.
